DS8's line is: "This is the yife." He was 4 when we got a hot tub & had a Y/L pronunciation problem. The first time we all got in the tub, he climbed in, sat down and said "Ahhh, this is this yife." We still say it all the time!

DS8 got his Bs & Vs mixed up. One day I was explaining to him that we had neighbors, not navers. He said: oh, well then why do we live in a naverhood?

Joan had some good advice before about Oriental Trading . . . also people sometimes give candy, magnets, temporary tattoos, stickers, little bottles of bubbles, glow sticks, or other items that could be fun on the ship.

It's also Ok to leave emeralds, krugerrand and stock certificates... (I'm just sayin')

just checked on my docs.. they went to Lousiville , then Indy and now in Hodgekins IL..

My docs are now in San Jose. I think they are following the advice of Dan's documents. Hang out in the office that is farther away from their destination. Would make more sense for my docs to be in Oakland, not San Jose.

Oh, well, mine aren't scheduled for delivery until 7/28

Can't believe in 3 weeks we will be in Anaheim having dinner at Blue Bayou. Can't wait. It all seems so real now with docs in hand.

Went looking last night for my FE gifts, and I finally figured out what I am doing. Now I just have to work on my door....and packing. This is one trip I won't wait until the night before to pack.

My docs have arrived in Minneapolis!

Maybe they'll show up tomorrow - that would be a nice treat on a Friday afternoon!

My docs also stopped off in Louisville, what a popular destination.

Is anyone else getting 3 different envelopes? We do have two rooms, but two packages come up under the one reservation number and one package comes up under the other reservation number. All have different tracking numbers. Weird?!

Thank you so much. I will have to figure out something because we have lazer printer. Don't think that will work. I think your door was great. I don't remember on our cruise in 2005 hearing about the fish extenders. I think this is a great thing to do for all of us. This time we are more involved and we just love it.

We are making signs for our cabin doors. The doors are metal so we print images on magnets.

If you look on the main cruise forum, you'll see a few threads discusing door signs/magnets.

I am trying to remain positive .. but I will be honest..I would never do this again..it has been very difficult with very little info - I am very frustrated..the worst part really is have the engraved money clip with the wrong date ..I guess what bothers me more is that it was very nochelant.I foudn out when I got the docs today...what if I had invites printed or something to that effect? They said the Captain changed it but a phone call would have been nice! Ok...that evening..we meet up on deck for wine and leftover wedding cake!

We didn't do our VR on DCL, we did it in Key West during a DCL cruise...but DD did her wedding on Castaway Cay and the one thing that they told us (back then...maybe they don't bother any more) repeatedly was to NOT have anything engraved with the date, as it is (Disney's favorite line) subject to change. And good thing, since the day that we stopped at CC DID change thanks to a hurricane.

Maybe they don't tell people that any more, or maybe they just don't think the VRs are that important. HA. I think they're just as important!!
