:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: We're NUMBER ONE...We're NUMBER ONE:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
Or is that number 2000+ something???? :rotfl: :rotfl:

Did I tell you guys that last Saturday when DH and I were at the pool at the Mirage, there was a guy in a Borat thong suit??? Serious. Lime green and all!! EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

EEEWWWWWWWWW! If it was a thong, where did he put his name?

Princess night question....

Anyone NOT wearing a tiara?

I don't know if I will be able to get one...(though I want to) and I have my bridal one...but haven't worn that yet and if anything happened to it I would be sad.....

I don't know what to do....Should I get one..should I not worry?
Oh the problems...whether to get a tiara or not!:lmao:

Chrissie

Get a cheap tiara at Claire's.
All the shunned, ummm, cool kids will be wearing tiaras.

I will personally bow to your son is I see him in tails! I think he will steal the show!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

That's usually his plan.

Our family isn't packing any either. Too hot!

My guys will have pants for dinner. I'll wear casual cotton pants on the plane & that's it.

M.'s rule for vacation packing - no shirts with sleeves, no shoes with toes.

Divo
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Divo is an Italian word used sometimes to describe male superstars.

"Divo" can also refer to:

Divo, Côte d'Ivoire
'Il Divo (operatic pop quartet)
DIVO Project - Digital Interactive Video Online

Devo (pronounced "Divo"), American New Wave group.

Thus the flower pot on his head comment.

You won't be alone, Chrissie. I'm not getting a tiara.

I'm tellin' ya - give in to peer pressure.

Tell me about it  Everytime I turn around something else is too small. Just replaced all the pj's and underwear. Both DD and DS are into adult size shoes :scared1: Ordered a tux for my niece's wedding for DS - pants were one size and the jacket was another.

This is how my DS8 ended up wearing tails. :sad2:

Don't forget to take the lens cap off pirate:

Andy

That's the beauty of SLR - ya can't!
I always lose lens caps. It is actually cheaper for me to just replace the filters on my lenses than to keep buying lense caps.

With so many of us on signed up for the FE gift exchange, how much are people planning on spending per gift? Sorry if this was already discussed. Thanks.

We aren't participating - I wanted to but since we are traveling with extended family, lets just say I won't go there :sad2:

but....
I was keeping up with the information in case we ended up joining in anyway. I believe it is what everyone can afford. There aren't any rules for it just more of a fun thing to do.

You can check places like the dollar stores, targets $1 spot, Orientaltrading.com, etc

If I am mistaken please correct me

I agree 100%, this will be our 4th DCL cruise with DSs since they were 5 years old all the way to 15 this year. For semi and formal night I have always just had them wear long pants, button down shirt and a tie and they fit right in with all the other kids. There are definitely a few who wear tuxes and a larger number with full suits, but the majority are just shirts and ties.

I hate to tell you, but it doesn't get any easier when they get older as far as growing out of everything. One of my 15yos wears a bigger jacket size than DH and for a while he needed a jacket for a Bar Mitzvah, then one for his 8th grade trip and everytime I had to get a bigger size. :scared1:

The best thing that's happened since my son turned 15 and has gotten almost as tall as his dad is that for one thing, he can wear his shirts and jackets....and .....Target now sells suit jackets! A whole lot cheaper than getting one at a department store.

He is actually wearing 24 months or 2T in just about everything now. That is a very generous offer, though, and if I can't find anything soon, I will let you know. The frustrating thing is that I've got a couple of shirts for him and a tie, but I can't find the pants. It seems that the few places I've seen that carry them sell the set (shirts, pants and tie). I didn't figure they'd be so hard to find!

Kim
Don't know if you have one/checked there, but the outfit described above came from Nordstroms and each piece was sold separately. Just a thought...

CRUISE QUESTION!!!

Okay....finally got around to trying to pack up the wine and Pepsi. Won't fit in a rolling duffel....so I'm using an old suitcase that I'll just leave on the ship. Maybe some CM will need one.
Anyway.....the darn thing is REALLY heavy. Really really heavy. I can barely lift it.
SO.....will the porters take it and check it in, or will I have to haul it all over until our room is ready??? Do they have a weight limit??

I've never taken wine, just a few Pepsi's.......:confused3

I read on a trip report, Mexican Riviera, that someone had wine in their suitcase and checked in with the porter. They were paged to go back to the terminal and get their suitcase. I will see if I can find it and post it here

I would highly suggest getting a suitcase on wheels. We are taking a small one that we can repack with and take on the plane as a carryon after the cruise. DH packed 6 bottles of wine in it. All bubble wrapped.

It is in a rolling bag, so if we have to roll it along with us, we can.
I just would rather they would tell me that curbside, rather than have to go down and fetch it later.

I'm guessing it would be okay then for my DS to wear khaki shorts to dinner? I have 3 pairs of khaki pants that I was going to rotate for him with hawaiian/tropical shirts, but it would be nice to have the option of the shorts too.

I'm just stuck now for semi-formal and formal night. I was planning on getting him a suit or at least a nicer pair of pants, shirt and coat. But he's in a growth phase and is right between a size 7 and a size 8 right now and I can't find anything that fits him right.

Slacks, dress shirt and a tie will be just fine!

Well..the UPS guy just brought Mickey Mail for me...it's the info on our VR

Seems our date got changed and no one thought to tell us :headache:

I booked everything around the original date (have to redo the magnet too)

We have tea for the time that is now booked for our VR..DW says they can move the tea..I hope so...

I also have to fugure out what I want to do for my manicure..the idea was to have it done the first night so it looked nice for the VW.

I think we will wear our semi-formal stuff for the 1st formal night - I dont want to chance my ruining my dress for the VR.

Oh well..we are at 4pm at Sessions so that's good!

We are getting Cruise docs Tomorrow and just can't wait. So, excited it's finally here. Also, finally found a formal dress for me and my daughter to match (color) wow. So, excited. On the way is my postcards for the kids which will be a project adding our information, we got disney labels with address and email.
The kids are going to have so much fun.

I just can't wait to meet you all. Oh, can anyone give me some ideas for the fish extenders? I just never done this before. :cool1:

Please take care,

Dawn (Room #7005)

Ryan (DS14)
