Desiree, that is so nice of you I wish my DSs were younger and I would take you up on the offer. On the 2005 Repo we had someone send them a postcard "Looking forward to seeing the Smith Brothers on the Magic". At the time DS9 was beyond thrilled until DSs12 came home from school and burst his bubble.

I shouldn't laugh but I have a big brother too..and when I was about 9 or so..Mom made us coniglio for dinner..I was enjoying it until my brother leaned across the table and asked..."So..how does it feel to be eating Thumper?" I never ate rabbit again!

Looks like we will be bringing an extra suitcase (or two) 5-6 in total. Ugh!

I can't believe the amount of stuff we accumulated over the last 18 months. I was packing one of our suitcases and more and more stuff kept on appearing. It felt like the episode of "I Love Lucy" when Ricky and Fred are packing th car for the trip to LA.

I started to pack ..then I stopped...I am not in the mindset to start focusing on it yet! We have a mini trip planned this week end to a local casino and to see a concert...after that is done I am all TOAL minded!(or I hope!)

I do have to say I found 2 Mouseketeer shirts now which to wear!?

I can't believe we are even closer! We leave for DL in 15 days!
I am so excited!

OK so there's 1 UPS distribution place in Abq... Why did the package arrive in Abq yesterday, depart this morning and arrive again 10 minutes later? I guess I was right that it's going to be in abq for a few days...

Sorry, forgot to update everyone.

I think the call went well, but what do I know, it's been almost 10 years since I've interviewed anywhere. I believe that I'm overqualified. That doesn't bother me, but it may give them some hesitation. They even asked if it would bother me if I wasn't a manager anymore. I said that what I'm called doesn't matter, as long as I have a position that challenges me and I can do well. Her response "I have no doubt you could do this well" - that could be taken either way.

Next steps - they are completing the initial interviews today and should be calling tomorrow or early next week. There will be a 2nd interview, either phone or in person, with the department head and maybe a few others. After that, there may be a job shadow for a day then they'll make their decision.

Tux Update:
Well I "won" the tux with tails that I didn't want. Hmph. I sent a message to the seller right away telling him/her that I messed up and asked if I could possible switch it for a non-tails tux. This is the same seller I've already bought 2 tuxes from in the last month. No response. Just a bill because I won. I can't be mad - I'm the one who screwed up. I just thought since this is a huge seller every size listed all the time they may be able to switch for me. Oh well.

The good new is, I bought the wrong tux for the right kid! DS8 is my diva. He actually thinks the tails will be cool! Next, he'll want a freeking top hat and cane.

DS9 would have died if I made him wear tails.

I will personally bow to your son is I see him in tails! I think he will steal the show!

Hey, I don't mean to complain.......BUT.....
We are leaving on the 7th. Are the deck plans and all the other stuff from Ye Printshop going to be ready for me to print out BEFORE then???

Mike hopes to have the deck plans very soon -certainly before you leave. I only mentioned Aug. 9 for corrections because I leave that day -- I'm not expecting much more unless some people get reassigned at the port (as I did on the Med repo last year). And by the way, stop complaining!

Did I tell you guys that last Saturday when DH and I were at the pool at the Mirage, there was a guy in a Borat thong suit??? Serious. Lime green and all!! EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Jen, I have purchased over 20 passes for quite a few pirates (at Von's) and was not charged sales tax. They are on the racks of gift cards when you try to find them!
