You stayed up after we left? We needed to get back to the hotel to hear how Jeff's night at the wedding went. Apparently Jeff got too, too drunk and wanted to sleep outside of our room. After he passed out there, his buddies were clapping and yelling to wake him up. I missed all this (slept through it), but Bill heard it all. I got the recap at 7am when Jeff's friends were getting coffee and talking loudly about it at the elevator. Yeah, the room was great (for those that didn't get it, we don't know or care who Jeff was, just a drunk outside of our hotel room).

We all had a great mini meet!!! I am sure Pamela or Tracy will have pictures to post!!! Great weather....great food.....great fireworks.......and great friends. What a wonderful day this has been.:

If you don't normally get sea sick or suffer from motion sickness (never have) should you still bring something to treat it?

It probably would not be a bad idea to take something along. We are sailing, what 3-4k miles of ocean in the middle of hurricane season so there is always the chance of being in rough water. Don't forget we are traveling with Tom.

Pepto and Immodium...why bring both?

You could probably get away with just one. Pepto bismol is very effective against travelers diarrhea but Imodium will stop you up just as well.

What would we need the colace for(I know what it is used for..but is it necessary?)?

Many people will be traveling on long airline flights to get here, not as much activity on board (saving lounge chairs), and dehydration can be causes. Although I really don't see this group being dehydrated, well may deprived of water but not liquid.

Sorry I have been missing for so long, but so much has been going on, just trying to keep up with the 10/24/09 thread is about all I can handle most days.

I can't even remember what pics I posted last, but here are pics from Angelina's graduation night 6-17 and at her grad party on 6-28.

We will be arriving at WDW on 8-31 and will be staying at OKW (first trip back HOME) until 9-5. Angelina starts her massage therapy school on her 18th birthday 9-15.

We are all doing well, in fact, I have even started working out each morning for about 45 minutes before going to work, then on the weekends I spend about 90 minutes working out. Angelina joins me during the weekday workouts, but she refuses to go with me on the weekends.....

It's so hard to believe that you guys only have a month before your PC cruise. I know y'all are going to have a MAGICal time and I can't wait to hear all about it!!!

Congrats to Angelina on graduating. How quickly time passes and they grow up. Glad to hear about the workout, keep it up and maybe it will help out your knees.

Congrats on the Trivia Contest. We've been attending Movie in the Park the last two weekends. Last night was Sandlot. It also had a trivia contest for the comfy seats, but I purposely didn't hand in my trivia contest sheet as I didn't want to be tempted by the pizza and other food due to my TOAL diet. I feel like the show Biggest Loser with the final month approaching -- last chance workout and diet! I've got 5 more lbs to go before the TOAL!

You sound like me Christopher, too close to break down now. I am only 1 pound away from my goal but I have been mentally struggling the month. I think that you can only tell yourself "Just keep it together, 15 days of what ever you want" gets kind of old after 19 months and you just want to splurge.

Thanks Shelley, I am so embarrassed, what I am doing is NOTHING compared to all the work EVERYONE else is doing. Maintaining the website, arranging busses, arranging tours, t******, wristbands, lanyards, FE exchange, SM exchange, dining rotations, nametags, keeping track of the kids and I know there is a lot more I am missing.

I let DH pack once & he brought maybe 2 pairs of shorts & a pair of pants & 2 shirts. He said, "That's all I need!" He ended up doing laundry every couple of days & it drove me crazy. Next time I put a pile of clothes next to the suitcase for him to pick & choose what he wanted from that pile & NOTHING got packed except for maybe a bathing suit, t-shirt & shorts. He said he didn't see it. Now I just do MOST of the packing for him. Saves us all a lot of trouble in the end.

Not that his outfits look any better mind you, because it's hard to work with green & red t-shirts & bright green & orange shorts, black socks & sneakers. Grown-up Garanimals? I think you have something there!

You should see how Jeff dresses at home every day.
I mean I'm no fashion guru myself but atleast I know fairly well what matches and doesn't- DH has no clue. Which doesn't bother me except when we're like spur of the moment going somewhere or going somewhere to eat and he tries to leave the house dressed like that! And I'm like uh...... do you think you could find a shirt and shorts or pants that atleast somewhat match? or atleast not clash QUITE as much as that outfit?

Can you please tell me if the new iphone's GPS has voice ativated turn by turn directions? My husband would like to know since he is considering getting one. Thank you.

I'm told it doesn't. Rumors of TomTom working on one are just rumors. Other rumors are that Apple is blocking 3rd party GPS applications to work on their own.

For the Aqua Trike's, you can just rent them on the beach. When we've done it in the past, you rent them for 1/2 hour at a time, but they've always let us go longer if we wanted. The Aqua Trike's can be difficult to manuever if you have younger kids. I prefered the paddle wheel boats.

Okay, I'll have to think about this now since it will be just my DS and I. The last time we were on CC we did the Stingrays and then just hung out on the beach and I had no idea they even had the trikes or the paddle boats. My DS saw the trikes in the DCL special on the travel channel and got really excited about them though.

Those of us that have had bad things happen to us know what the 'catch him before we do' attitude is all about. I never thought I would have those feelings but when my young family member was kidnapped and murdered, those thoughts just pop into your head. Thank goodness for our sanity and keeping us from a long trial, he (the kidnapper & murderer) took care of himself when he could not escape the police! I hope to never have to go through that type of thing again. Hugs to you and your family for this difficult time.

BTW: this happened very, very close to you in Arizona back in 1989!
