Me, M, Roger, Tom (Crash one), and a lot of others that are not coming to mind now. We will all be in good company.
BTW, Did Roger or M let you know you are forbidden to use the elevator on deck 2. That is our "keep from gaining weight plan."

Sounds good! It'll keep me on track.... Not sure how that'll work with the stroller though!

DH & I had the unpleasant task yesterday of trying to figure out how much to budget for this cruise for costs (spa, excursions, palo, tips) once we board.

I thought there were quite a few of us on Deck 2. And, although I don't post a lot, I know that we've "talked" before. I'm the green chile addict from Cibola High whose mom lives in Rio Rancho!

OK so I talked to DCL this morning... Then the TA emailed and said there was an upgrade available from a 12 to 11 (for a price, of course) so we took it and got it all situated with the TA.... Only to get an email from the TA a few minutes ago saying that apparently DCL got their wires crossed and there was never a room....

We bought a couple inexpensive pieces on a DCl cruise a few years back by the time they add the frame,shipping etc. it became expensive. When I got home I did some research on the company and found they had a unsavory reputation and would not go near the onboard art auction again.

Todd we are in the process of attaching the parrot to my shoulder. We are very close to coming up with a solution short of training a live parrot in the next month.

Did you have a place for belt buckles?

Todd do you use anything else besides tea to stain clothes? The pants are polyester (not very ie I know) and tea is not staining them.

The handy bench is a good place to sit and you can put stuff under it. Only non-connecting rooms have this.

Well, you can throw it over your shoulder and do some weight lifting as you climb up the stairs whilest holding the stroller with your DD in it.

Having the DCL horn as your ring tone is a great idea. I have a Mickey ring tone but have to change it when we go to WDW because I am constantly thinking my phone is ringing since there is so much 'Mickey' talk there! The other day in the Disney Store, my DS10 said, 'mom, your phone is ringing'. It was just the Mickey toys!

How do you find the ring tone for the horn?

Oh...by the way....it wasn't that I didn't believe you or Cheryl...I just didn't see how DCL could photgraph one side and not the other, and not make a lot of people upset. But then...if they can't GET on the other side, then there's nothing they can do about that.

I did not believe it myself......but I just listen to people who have been there and done that!! I hope it changes for our trip!! If not the whole ship will be leaning!!!

This is what friends who were on the WB repo this year said happened for them when I asked about the pictures.

Maybe they have changed how they did things after the last repo, probably due to complaints from anyone who didn't get a picture from their verandah in 2005. She also said that they went around decks 4 and 10 taking pictures of people with the canal in the background. Now that is something that I want to get!

I hope it will change. We all know they will get tons of of e-mails when we get back home!!! If enough go to right side of the ship....we could tip it over!!

I agree, in 2005 it was a bit of a lottery, they did do both sides, but using my expeirience of my Princess cruises panama crossings I knew you had to wave and get noticed.

They had limited time to take everyones pictures, we were more aft, and could see the Shutters staff, two I think coming down out side slowly, taking pictures of every deck with verandahs, and deck 4 and trying to get Deck 10 as well, (9 is a bit too hard with Plexiglass).

We waved and waved and finally were in three pictures at various looks.

I did walk around ship and saw port side they were taking some, but port might well have the middle island of the three locks and they might have limited access there at some locks.

So things do change, you just have to keep your eyes out wherever you are.

I guess we will all know for sure in a few weeks.

I would like to thank all of the people offering their verandas for all of us porch less folks on deck 1 and 2 and inside cabins. I do have a counter proposal to offer though. If any of you would like to get a once in a lifetime shot of the actual walls of the locks maybe you could stop by and take a picture out of our window. I mean everyone can get a picture from deck 10 but only us lucky lower deck s get a view of the actual lock walls.

I do want a picture of the cement walls!!!! I will meet you on deck 2 and then come to the wrong side of the ship and be with us!!

Try using brown and black shoe polish diluted with water and rub it on that way ....youll have t experiment , the nice thing about weathering is you really cant mess something up ...

Has anyone filled out the online check in forms yet?
When I try to fill mine out it cuts everything I write in half so you can't see the top of the letters / numbers.

In the past I haven't had that problem so I am not sure if it is the form or my computer

Does anyone have any insight on this?

I filled mine out awhile back and I didn't have that problem. I printed out my signature page today and all was well. Hopefully, it straightens up for you.
