I was thinking the same thing. Actually I was going to make some smart add comment like "I guess you have so many Eagle Scouts since it is so much easier to get that vs the Gold Award".

How do you "run ragged" on a cruise ship? Specially since the 18mo old will be napping a lot (she still sleeps like 16 hours/day!)

waaaaay back when...I was a senior and there were 4 of us and we all came from different schools..it was difficult...my DD just earned her Bronze and has picked out a project for her Silver..she just has to wait one more year when she becomes a Cadette.

My project included my first foray into corporate sponsorship - turns out I was pretty good at in and make a nice living doing it now.

not sure why it won't let us look at the ressie online with our confirmation #'s! i just got off the phone with their reservation dept. i told them i wasn't able to pull it up online unless i used my cc. they asked me for the res # i had...and she confirmed that my # was correct! so why won't the site let us use it??????

Just got off the phone with a young man named J.J.,at HoJo's(very nice young man!). He pulled up our ressie and according to him, we still have our Original Deal! That both numbers refer to the same reservation and he said "In House Reservations would automatically catch it upon checking in to the hotel". So,we still got our original deal of $67.20 and $95.20. Now I can stop steaming!!

We have a sisterhood! Our friend's DD is a Cadette and I pulled out my Senior sash one night when we started talking about our experiences in GSs. There are so many memories documented there.

I was just the project away from getting my gold... I've been kicking myself ever since. But our troop disolved long before, our council was awful and very unsupportive and my parents and I had no idea what I could do for the project

How discouraging. We didn't have a Senior troop so I hung out with my old Cadette troop and the counsel assigned a mentor for my Gold work.

That shows the deck plans- it doesn't say this side is starboard, this side is port- nor does it say this side gets pictures taken on the panama canal. LOL

Yeah, I need disney magic for dummies to figure out which is which. Apparenly my weakness in geography knows no bounds... even relates to which side of the ship! LOL

I wouldn't have cruised with rooms so far apart. We had our room #'s before we paid in full, due to the magic our TA managed- because I told him we're not paying in full unless I know our rooms are right there by one another! LOL

I hate to throw cold water on a happy day - but I heard from Inventory Control -
There were 8 openings for brunch in the private dining room and our requests were # 9 & 10!!! So - close but nothing for us.

I'm so sorry everyone. Apparently some requests were placed as early as Feb. 2007!!

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. I know that I faxed them on 1/31/07 soon after we booked the room. There is still a chance that you could get reservations and be seated together in the regular area. Go to the resie location ASAP with everyone's information. Remember...Marco will be there and he is the Prince of Palo, isn't he. If anyone can make it work...he can.

Also, the good new is that you are the next on the list when/if anyone cancels...which could still happen.

You're just a few doors down from us in 6616 & this will be the third time having that room. I love this location obviously since it is quiet, a quick run up to topsiders, and best of all you should be able to see the fireworks from your verandah on pirate night...unless you want to be in the middle of the party. Yes we will definitely have an ocean view, but we do get to see the viewing platfrom etc. on PC Day & we usually have a nice view of the beach at CC & the Flying Dutchman.

I also love this side of the ship and that hallway. 6634 is our "suite".
But on this cruise we are in 7100 & 7102

We bought them in April so before the announcement...I don't think I am going to worry about it tho..DH is coming back by himself and between his carry on and 1 bag..that will be fine...the rest of us are driving home so we have a van rented...we will take the rest of the stuff.

You are going to DRIVE from Florida to California????

Obviously you will be coming through Texas....... If it will be after Sept 5th (we get home lat on the 5th) you are wecome to spend the night at our house! I live near either I-20 or I-30 (I think from FL you would take I-20).

Not an upgrade but I can live with it. My counter is under 30 - 5 weeks today we leave for DL. I'm just a bit excited - okay a whole lot excited.....

Do they care if you bring refillable mugs (from WDW resorts) on the ship to use for your sodas?
Just curious....
Last time we used their cups = small, ice melted quickly so it was water, etc. = kept going back for more. If we can just bring our refillable mugs then we'd actually take less soda from the machine because and less trips there.

That's what we do. We also bought a couple of the old DCL mugs a couple cruises ago and use those.
