Morning all.
Been away for a while. Last few weeks have been quite busy. Company I work for has decided to down size and has given me the option to transfer. I have decided to take the transfer but before starting the new position I have taken a few weeks off to get the house in order. Lot's to do. I have painted all the rooms in the house, put new carpet on the stairs, put a new floor in my sons room, and have weeded several of my gardens. Still have a to do list for my last week off, shop for a new dishwasher, put down a new floor in the kitchen, put in new counter tops, install a new faucet, shampoo living room carpet and weed the last garden. It may take a while to catch up but I'll try.

This past weekend I put together a picnic for my coworkers. One last party before we go our separate ways.:sad2: :sad2: Played wiffle ball the young against the old. Guess who won? Boy do I feel my age.:rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Well looks like a great weeding day. Talk to you soon.
Happy birthday and anniversary to all I've missed.
Prayers to all in need.
Thanks to all for planning.

I see that we need to come up with a time for the PJ Breakfast so that it gets included in the Pirate navigator that M and Pamela will be putting together. I was going to set up a poll on the Pirate Zone, so i checked out the WB navigators to see what time Lumierre's serves breakfast. The problem is that some days they have breakfast from 8:00 to 9:30, and other days they have brunch from 9:00 to 12:30. Since we don't know for sure what Lumiere's hours will be on the PJ Breakfast day, I suggest that we meet in the atrium at 9:00 AM, and can then head into the restaurant together. That way we're covered for either the breakfast or the brunch seating times.

What do y'all think?

Here's what i came up with when I added the rooms:

pirate:

Mine will be on the way tonight!

I have a DS16 that loves to program for fun. I emailed him the stuff you posted and I will see what he has to say. It is a hobby for him, so he might be able to make something cool just for fun.

Is our goal to be able to scroll over the ship and when your mouse hovers over the cabin, you would see info of the DIS occupant? Or did I recall that from months ago....???

I am still recovering from the time warp this weekend.

Fantasy? - Roll over the cabin and the name and picture comes up. :lmao: anyone up for that challenge?

We have a DD8 too. She lives in the kids clubs. She makes friends really easily, but I don't think she's too overwhelming. If they meet up, she may talk your DD into going.

Hope so. Love the little Momma's girl but I want to experience some adult fun too.

Meeting in the lobby works for me. That way I can check out to make sure y'all are really in your pajamas. :rotfl:

But after meeting the cult, is he wishing for an attack? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Naahh. He still thinks I'm cute, so he's willing to put up with the cult. princess:

We spent about 10 hours in the car this weekend (can you say captive audience?) - he actually seemed to enjoy starting the family-coordinated-but-not-matchy-matchy-appropriate-to-the-dining-room-and-theme dinnerwear spreadsheet & making fish gifts. At first he didn't really want to help with the fish gifts - then I pointed out that she who makes fish gifts receives fish gifts, so if he wanted any of the loot, he better learn to make 'em! :lmao:

Ah, haven't sprung spreadsheep on him yet?:confused3

This doesn't bode well for us. Between Tom's weather track record and M and her sunny out look, I'm scared! :scared1:

For the record, there were a few others from this cruise on my last hurricane changed cruise!

Awesome. Thanks! :thumbsup2 This will make delivering FE gifts so much easier.

I tried to ketchup last night, but it was too hard with the twlight zone attacking DIS! I think I last read a page back in the 90's and got lost. Did I miss anything this weekend?

A friend of mine spilled the beans that we're going on a cruise for our HM, so I told my DFI. He's pretty mad that someone spilled the beans about the cruise. They didn't actually know it was DCL, so I still have to get that out of him. I'm working on it. Only 7 more weeks till our wedding and the TOAL! YAY!!! Doing a happy dance now!
 :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:

Didn't your fiance tell you earlier that your HM had something to do with Disney? Now that the beans are officially spilled, why not just come out and ask him if it's a Disney crusie or not.:confused3 You can say that you know the last Disney cruise for the summer leaves LA the day after the wedding. That way you can join in on all of the DIS activities without being so discreet as to how you found out about them. :)

I did it again! I copied my list off of Pirate Zone and forgot to make a correction there...Cat 4 is being donated by Grandma x3 ..both she and Esteri donated but we went with Chris as she already had a cabin number. Sorry!

Why didn't I think of that? I made all the FE gifts myself. DH just shakes his head and says he is going to wear a paper bag on his head during the cruise so all these crazy DISers don't know who he is.:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

I have to be nice to him though. He spent all day yesterday painting the outside of the house. Our house is brick, but there sure is a lot of trim. And Saturday he took me out to dinner and a movie for my birthday. And he bought me a little Mickey and Minnie figurine with Mickey giving Minnie a heart. It was very sweet.

My big gift was a few weeks ago when he bought me a new printer (all in one - print, copy, scan). He is such a romantic. :rotfl: I got one of the new Kodak ones that has the ink cartridges that are actually affordable. I bought 2 black and one color cartridge for the same price I pay for one of my HP ink cartridges. And they are supposed to last just as long. We will see, I go through a lot of ink. I will probably still print my photos on the HP photo printer, but everything else is nice on this printer. It does a good job and I can use it with my laptop. I printed my magnetic door signs with it. They turned out pretty good. And I still have 1/2 a color ink cartridge left.

Since I sent everything off to the printer....I had to figure out a starting point.

We will meet at 11AM on the 18th in the Promenade Lounge. Everyone who wishes to join us...please feel free.

Thanks!

He did tell me it was something Disney, but he was so upset that someone told me it was a cruise, I hate to burst his bubble. I think he's going to tell me soon anyway. He almost did last night. I just don't want to come right out and say "Hey babe...since I know it's a cruise and I know it's something Disney, are we doing a Disney cruise?" He worked so hard on this "surprise" and I don't want to ruin it, at least for now. We'll see though. I may break down and ask! The activities would be fun. :confused3

I have an 8 yo DD as well. she is very shy and so far professes she will not be going to the kids club. We'll see.

Sorry to hear that. If it's OK with you, I will ask my daughter to e-mail yours and explain how much fun she has had in the Oceaneer's Club on her previous cruises. "This could be the start of a beautiful friendship."

We have a DD8 too. She lives in the kids clubs. She makes friends really easily, but I don't think she's too overwhelming. If they meet up, she may talk your DD into going...

Mike,

You are on my list of parents with DD8s to contact. With your permission, my DD would like to e-mail other girls before the cruise. Please send me a PM if you're OK with that.

I will also responsd to m&M's mom with the same offer.

I have an 8 year old dd as well. It looks like our little girls will have no shortage of playmates onboard. There are so many that fall in the 7-9 year old range.

Deanna,

You are also on my list of parents with DD8s to contact. With your permission, my DD would like to e-mail other girls before the cruise. Please send me a PM if you're OK with that.

Then we are in for quite a treat! I couldn't remember if the dog was on our med cruise or the med repo last year, but this has to be the same family. We often sat in the WDT right in front of them and my girls were thrilled to have a puppy sitting just behind them!I have J-41 flexible sole shoes that I am going to wear for the ziplining -- they have a double velcro strap so they won't fall off but are flexible for all the steps to get to the platforms. They are also (mostly) black, so that works too. However, my oldest daughter plans to put elastic bands or hair elastics over her flip flops and try that!:lmao:

You are forgiven, my son . . .:goodvibes Just do a few hail mickeys for penance . . .
:thumbsup2

Actually there is a special dispensation... gluttony doesn't count if it's committed on a DCL cruise as I'm sure you recall from the following section on the DCL FAQ:

gluttony.jpg

Very very good, so I am not a sinner at Dinner, (and I forgot a character breakfast at Parrot Cay.
