You would have fit right in on our Med cruise last July! So many people were bringing their own TP, and travel TP for excursions, that it became quite a running joke on that thread . . .

Ever since we were in Guatemala (about 19 years ago) and had nothing but a board with a hole cut in it, I've always kept a prepared package with toilet seat covers, t.p. and wipes. I have them in my snorkel bag, and depending on where we are, in my backpack. Maybe that's just a little too OCD. :confused3

How did Crash sneak in there with his roller coaster? Pirate run anyone, just for fun?

Crash is still innocent...FYI! :moped: :3dglasses :dance3:

EDITED IN...AHHHH, I just posted this at 11:47 central at the end of everything and it is here. WHAT IS GOING ON. I am finally going to post something fun and/or relevant and no one will see it!!!!

No, we are bringing the wipes as well as seat covers. We will only be off the ship 5x so it shouldn't be much of a problem.

OK I think we are still stuck in the warp. It is 12:53 and my post is before some I've already read and my posting time is 11:38 . I'm stepping away from the dis for a while. BTW, had a really messed up cruise nightmare last night. May be still asleep?

I've only been on Tower-of-Terror twice ... spaced approximately 10 years apart in visit, took me that long to work up the courage to ride it again :scared1: I can promise that with all the weird stuff happening on the DIS today ... if my office all of a sudden goes dark and starts falling, I'm gonna ask for a refund :rotfl2:

Stace, I quoted this because I read it quoted at the top of the page ... and then I saw it in "real time" on the bottom of the page. And just when I thought it was safe to depart from the rock I've been hiding under :lmao:

Oh wow....too funny. Still all messed up. Reminds me of my college days in the '70's. :hippie:

I guess Stace got caught in the warp too......

Let us know how all the excursions are so we can make changes before our cruise..... :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey, this can be kind of fun. Post and then go and see if you can find your post.

Oh look ... a peanut

This is just a test......where will it show up?

Up is down and down is up......where's my peanut?

Yeah.... it IS kind of wierd how the posting is time shifted. For a while I was wondering what everyone was referring to - but my last posting took a while to generatre because I stepped away for a bit ... and to my mild surprise it appearred much further behind than expected.

Maybe there's a RED SHIFT between us and the new DIS servers they brought on line last nite? :confused3

In group settings with lots of background noise, my hearing is horrible and I have a difficult time keeping up with conversations. That's how I'm feeling today on the DIS.:confused3

Sitting in MCO ......

As I was going through security (have I mentioned how much I hate MCO security) I started thinking of how many of us would be passing through here in about 2 months, exhausted, sad yet exhilarated and energized.

MCO Security - has a line for "experienced travellers - fly 2 or more times a month, has items out, etc....." It took twice as long as if I had got in the "families and people needing help"

Wanted to try to see Coral over at DTD, but the project I'm on had us working from 8am till 5:30 pm then I had to catch up with my job, etc. and transportation in Orlando is outrageous, cab/shuttle to DTD from my hotel was $30 + tip each way.... just couldn't justify it, especially given that the hotel I'm in has no affordable meals, etc. (Hamburger & coke = $25). Needless to say, I consumed my per diem in beer. This trip is a bit costly!
:scared1: :scared1:

Sorry Coral I will definately meet up with you in August.

Sounds good. :thumbsup2 It really threw our schedule off w/ the rain /monsoon going on. We did not even end up going to DTD so I guess I will have to order my rewards card directly.

Arlene- We were not sure enough of our schedule to commit to meeting up and that is why I did not contact you this week. On the other hand, you can thank us for single handidly breaking the drought. ;) Everythihng was so green and pretty I am surprised the said on the news there was a drought.

Actual Cruise Question!

How many of you are bringing a laptop?

Now back to your regularly scheduled chatting.

Late response, but we will definitely be bringing our computer. DH will have an employee checking on things but Bill will have to reguraly check up on things.

Thanks for the list. I'm always afraid that I'm going to forget something, and it's going to be the one thing I end up needing. I was wondering if I should bring some Airborne. Has anyone ever used it? Does it work?

Kim

I read also that it does not work but I have had excellent experience w/ it. I have the girls either suck on zinc lozenges or drink Airbonne the week before we go on vaca and they have never gotten sick.

We finally got our stateroom assignment - 7001 (cat 10). It makes this trip real for me. We were so disappointed at having to cancel the western repo. I can't believe we have just 52 days, 3 hours, 24 minutes, 51 seconds remaining until our East-Bound Panama Canal Cruise!

I am so jealous. That group of cat 10's was the reason I booked a 10 to begin with. I got deck 2. I have asked my TA to call every week to see if a deck 7 opened up and she could not get me moved. Oh well! I am in very good company on deck 2. :thumbsup2

I'm the same way Christopher. I have hearing aides, but I'll need a cochlear implant in the not too distant future.

Now lets see where this post goes:rotfl:

Edited to add: I guess they fixed the twilight zone effect-my post went where it was suppose to.

You, Laurie and my Mom too on the hearing part.
