I like the Naples Ristorante a lot as well . . . and are you not doing Steakhouse 55 in the DLH? They have really great steaks. Which day do you arrive? We leave for California Aug 9 but don't arrive at DL (we are at DLH too) until the 12th (we are in Huntington Beach enjoying the surf -- and the surfers - until then).

I arrive Wednesday 13th LAX at 13.10 so hope to be at DLH at say 3pm.

I have a full schdule of ADR's booked in, Steakhouse 55, was on my back-up list given to DREAMS but they got all of my first list and there isnt the time to squeeze it all in.

Enjoy having a good 'look' at the men surfers.

I am not to sure if anyone else answered but as I have had some PM's re the

HYATT DAY ROOM

The cost is $89 plus local tax and the hours are 9.00am > 4pm usuful for late Flights home, it has a rooftop pool, and I will check in my luggage at 12.30pm, but still have the room for my 5pm flight, leaving for security at 4pm.

I would give Orlando security more than an hour on Labor Day!

I would give Orlando security more than an hour on Labor Day!

I have found MCO to be one of the better airports, Las Vegas and Miami are bad, I havent been through LAX for some time so do not know there, it will be at least 1.20 as my flight is 5.20pm, but maybe earlier as i can go to he club lounge for food and drink pre flight.

Well I considered but the housesitter does all animal related cleaning, and that is almost all the mess anyway, I was going to skip her coming. We had already decided on the TOAL to have her come every week on schedule.
Oh well, more time for me to handle all these clothes.
I have an appt to sell a ton of kids clothes at a resale shop. Never have done it before so not completely sure what to expect. I was giving all the kids clothes to my neighbor but after I babied these clothes through 2 girls, seeing her trash them was just too much.
Sooo... I told Megan and Miranda that they could split the amount I got and that would be their souvenir money next week at WDW.

Great idea!! I know what you mean about the clothes....I used to give my sister all of our outgrown kids clothes.......Not anymore...... Now I know why she only buys cheap cr*p......

Most of Claire's clothes are either custom made or from specialty shops.... She's the last one so, she gets all the cute clothes! LOL! My sister wants me to give them to her for her grand daughter....we'll see!

We were coming back from WDW in mid-Dec. and it took us 30-40 minutes to get through security. We got to the front of the line and the guard decided to take a 10 minutes break. We were there in plenty of time (we always allow 2 hours) but sure was frustrating watching everyone else go through while we just waited.

We're a cat 12 GTY and hoping for an upgrade...

Well we have to do Casey's in every MK Type park we go to (Disneyland, Tokyo DL, MK) and we also always do Award Weiners and the Corn Dog King. We were VERY disappointed last time we went with Casey's... No more fries. Only choices were chips (the cheap Lay's) and apple slices. Every time we asked for the apples they were out! We'll also eat at anything else that sounds good and is close when we get hungry.

Tanya, I can't remember if it is called Casey's, but at the exact same place at the end of Main Street to the left, there is a hot dog place like Casey's at WDW. Your plans sound terrific!

I am so indecisive about this. I usually know what parks I will be in and have ADR's made at the 180 day mark when we go to WDW. While I would love to try some of these nicer restaurants at DL, 1) it is just DD and me (she is happy with a bowl of Easy Mac), 2) we staying at a resort with a full kitchen & 3) I have no idea what day I am going to each park.

To wing it, or not to wing it? THAT is the question

We'll only have time to do DL,as we fly in late Fri. night. So we'll just wing it and whatever strikes our fancy,that's what we'll do.

All this talk about DL makes me sad. I am thrilled to be on the cruise, but I would LOVE to be able to also spend a few days at DL. I haven't been to DL since the 70's so I am sure a lot has changed. DH only has 18 days of vacation and we just used 6 to visit his family in TX. So that only leaves 12 and 10 of those are for the TOAL. So he will only have 2 days from Sept. 1 to the end of the year.

I, on the other hand, earn 6.77 hours every 2 weeks and have over 200 hours saved up. Maybe I should just go to DL without him. Hey, I just spent a week with his family didn't I? I was bored out of my gourd while he and his Dad worked on the car. Couldn't even DIS as I wasn't comfortable getting on their computer and they don't have wireless access for my laptop. Anybody have room for a tag along?

I guess I can't do this without him since it is our anniversary trip. He does come in ahead of Disney in my life. (just barely)

They started seeing theirs en-masse at the 31 day mark. I'm guessing we'll start to see ours somewhere in the 7/16 to 7/18 date range (and we're still a GTY9, just checked).

As of yesterday,we were still a GTY 6.

The ESPN restaurant is good too and a whole lot cheaper than any of the DLR ones. Plus all of the games.

Yes, we have eaten there before. I think we even have some game cards that might still be good....

Honestly for me, I love eating out in the parks. I like slowing the day down a little bit and chilling with the kids. Some of my favorite memories are at mealtimes!

Me too, we are just going to try and keep the food costs down a little. We do have some planned, just not one every day. We will do alot of counter services in the parks though!

so much going on! Its very exciting!

We went to DL this afternoon and had a ball. It was really crowded and hot, but since we didn't get there until 4ish, we missed alot of the heat. It was an absolute gorgeous evening!

I had to share the CUTEST thing I bought....its a antenae ball!

Love it! I want to get one when we are in DL!!!
My boys love legoland, we haven't been there in years since my kids are getting older.

Ok, it's OFFICIAL ... I had my first dream about this Cruise last night It wasn't a nightmare, I didn't forget to pack my clothes, I didn't miss the ship. We boarded, found out we got a fabulous complimentary upgrade (hence the reason I knew it was a dream from the start ) The room was a "new" one w/a funky angular layout ... I was just getting ready to invite you all in to see the new room when the doggone alarm went off and woke me up

I have been having cruise dreams too, but its always things that go wrong. They also increase in number the closer the cruise gets, and they are always dreams I am glad to wake up from and realize its just a dream. My last dream I had a few days ago, I forgot ALL of our gifts...fish extender, SM...Wow that was scary!

good morning all!! just got back from taking my youngest ds to his last day of preschool. hard to believe how time flies! it was a fast school year for him...and me! i can't believe there will be no more preschool kids for me!!

My youngest son also finished preschool in May. At first I was happy, no more tuition, start of summer, etc, but then I got really sad....no more young kids at home. It hit me pretty hard.
