Diane!!!

I just e-mailed her for you!!! I hope it works.

You will all have peace and quiet..........I am going to relax and read a book outside.:cloud9:

Thanks for the pictures! I'm hoping that since we're doing Legoland the first full day we're there, that it will be a nice slow start to our Southern California trip. The kids are really looking forward to it. We signed them up for the Brickmaster club, so their tickets were free. Now we're just trying to find some inexpensive ones for the two of us.

Thanks for sharing! My youngest actually showed that one to me this past weekend. I agree that the lego minimovies are pretty funny.

10ds loves Legos, also! In May I bought him siftware/camera for making stop action movies with his Legos..... I wanted to give him a *project* on work on this summer! LOL!

and for those who couldn't sell Susan's toe from her eye, here's a pic from the beach yesterday. You still can't see her baby blues, but her swim goggles are also UVA/B sunglasses:

WARNING: for anyone who's on any kind of snorkel/water excursion with us on the TOAL, Susan will always be the last person back on board lol.

Andy

Great pic! And that sounds like DH!!! He could live in the water! LOL!

well after 2 days of being on the cruise diet i guess i lost about 1 pound.

:yay:

Well it is 10:15 and Leticia The Wonder Maid has not shown up yet. I think she got the weeks messed up. I was trying to tell her to not come next week but she must have thought it was this week. I even went so far as have my co-worker translate to Spanish so she would understand. This means I have to clean my own dang house. Normally I would not bother since we are going to be gone next week but since we have the housesitter, I need to clean somewhat. Bummer!

UGH! I am so sorry to hear that!!! I always had Angie come even when we weren't home, that way everything was *fresh* when we arrived home. I really hope we sell the house in Taylor soon...... That's the only way I'm getting Angie back! LOL!

I was looking for a picture this morning and came across these 2 along the way...made me laugh. They were from the 05 Mex. Riviera cruise. In the first one...they enjoyed it when the elevator doors opened and greeting those waiting with their weapons and a big Arrrrr!! :

Great pics!!!!

Well I considered but the housesitter does all animal related cleaning, and that is almost all the mess anyway, I was going to skip her coming. We had already decided on the TOAL to have her come every week on schedule.
Oh well, more time for me to handle all these clothes.
I have an appt to sell a ton of kids clothes at a resale shop. Never have done it before so not completely sure what to expect. I was giving all the kids clothes to my neighbor but after I babied these clothes through 2 girls, seeing her trash them was just too much.:(
Sooo... I told Megan and Miranda that they could split the amount I got and that would be their souvenir money next week at WDW.

Hey Guys! :wave2:

Just popping in to subscribe. Had a way late night last night and therefore, I am just getting ready to leave. Having a hard time adjusting to this time zone. Anyway, if anyone is interested in looking at pictures of what we've been up too, I have been blogging my trip except for last night - it was close to 3 am before I went to bed.

BTW, The WWII Memorial? AWESOME at night. I may just have to go back tonight and view it again. But I will hit it again in the daytime.

OK folks - one more order of business:

ANYONE FOR A DC MEET?

IF ANYONE OUT IN THE DC AREA OR SURROUNDING AREAS WOULD LIKE TO MEET UP WITH ME - I AM WITH MY OLDEST DD (but I am considering her an honorary adult as she's about 30 days out) - LETS SET UP A TIME AND PLACE. WE ARE STAYING IN VIENNA BUT WE ARE STARTING TO GET THE HANG OF THE METRO. WE ARE IN TOWN UNTIL WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25TH.

As long as there is a metro close by - we can probably get there.

Today, we plan on trying out the new Indian Museum after we hit The Vet wall in daylight. Anyone interested - just pm me or e-mail - if you can - e-mail me - I'll get back to that faster. Thanks!

BTW, here's me yesterday -

....and, I would guess that means no more pre-school tuition bills:cool1: :cool1:

that would be a great way to look at it...but ds went to the preschool my sis in law owns...so tuition was free! oh well..he's so excited! he knows the next time he goes to school now, he'll be in with the big kids!!! we will arrive home at midnite the nite before he starts kindergarten!! thank goodness they don't do much in school those first few days!

We'll be at DL for 3 nights - arriving late on Thursday. We are planning on seeing all we can at DL and DCA in 2 days with 4 kids, 2 little ones. Our plan is to eat counter service on land to save time and money. Any recommendations are appreciated....

May not be best for the kids, but from my perspective the French Market Restaurant and Cafe Orleans in New Orleans Square is great - but I'm a fan of Cajun and Creole cooking.

For the family, Plaza Inn on Main Street is generally fine cafeteria style food.

Did I mention I love a man in a uniform?

Scrumplicious eye candy!

Doesn't hurt that they all must have a waist no bigger than 30". I love a small waist!

OK Megan is showing me this:

So I got to go - hope everyone has a nice day.

Remind me someone to post my squirrel but. :lmao:

Megan said the rodent was showing me his opinion of me taking his picture.

Ok just had to post -

Megan said this was his response to me filming him: He showed me! :lmao:

Squirrel But! Not a groundhog but will this do?

I was just laughing at your typing, Cheryl . . . no worries . . . and I think you look great (and very thin) in that photo!:thumbsup2

Since this is our 2 month mark until sail away, I will share something I made the other night when our Internet was down. I had to resort to playing with PS, but this is what it will look like in 61 days.

Hi Laura! It's too bad you aren't there longer, because at some point I have promised my middle daughter (who just finished a year of American History and really enjoyed it) a day trip to DC -- we will take the Acela very early in the morning out of Penn Station and return very late, and should get from about 9-7 in there to see the sights in DC . . . but I don't think we can swing it before June 25th. But I'll see you in August . . .

Hey Laura:yay:
We're in the area and would love to meet up with you:thumbsup2
I just have to check with DH to see what we are doing this weekend. The weekdays are bad for us, but maybe Sat. or Sun. What do you have planned for those days ?

I like the Naples Ristorante a lot as well . . . and are you not doing Steakhouse 55 in the DLH? They have really great steaks. Which day do you arrive? We leave for California Aug 9 but don't arrive at DL (we are at DLH too) until the 12th (we are in Huntington Beach enjoying the surf -- and the surfers:goodvibes - until then).

I think I am the guy in the black t-shirt and blue jeans with the Camera and looking at the stage, I had black hair then, not grey!

I'll let you know, Laurie -- it is more likely to be during the week than on a weekend day -- but maybe we could meet for lunch? I'm just finalizing a few things with the girls' schedules and then I'm going to plan which day I will do that with Katherine.

Just wanted to let everyone know... I just got my DING with SW. It's only good for bookings made before 1:25PM TODAY. Geez they give a whole half hour! The Ding for us is totally unavailable and wouldn't be cheaper anyway :( So much for their wonderful anniversary sale!
