Happy Birthday Eric (DS tiggrbaby)!!!

Happy birthday Eric!

On work computer use. My company is wayyy too lenient. They have never said anything to me and have "seen" me on the computer a lot. The attitude has basically been, get your job done and we will avert our eyes "at the proper moment" (ok, who knows the movie the line is from? :) )
But who knows when my luck will end. There is a big re-alignment going on where all the top bosses have been let go and new ones are coming in. I have been through this a few times and you just kinda have to wait and see what you get when the dust settles.

My company is also very lenient when it comes to computer use. It would be rather difficult to enforce people not using it for personal business when one top boss spends a good part of the day internet shopping and another one is on ebay.

The attitude here is also as long as you get your work done and your performance doesn't suffer because of it your fine - once it does your wings are clipped.

That isn't what I was saying - what I was referring to was the actual repeating of the restaurants that a previous poster was questioning.

Someone was questioning if the restaurants would actually repeat themselves every 3 nights because on the 7nt Mexican sailings they are repeating one restaurant two nights in a row. On the 7nt sailing they said that the rotations went something like this "The 6:15 and 8:15 rotation was LAAPLAP". I was just noting that for the WB cruisers their rotation was repeated every 3 nights and not repeating a restaurant twice in a row

I do understand that the actual order of the restaurant was different on the WB vs the information we were given for the EB

All I meant is that Disney changes things all the time so I wouldn't rely on what happened in the past. I know you weren't talking about the rotations themselves, just saying Disney is not consistent.

So if I charge it today then it's due with the rest of the trip in like November, right? Or is that a new 6mo no interest?

I'm not sure on this because I charged my tips with the final payment. If charging the tips separate qualifies for the 0% for 6 mo promo, I believe it would be a new 6 mo. Don't know if it would qualify though.

Happy Anniversary Pamela & Dan!!!

Happy Birthday Eric (DS tiggrbaby)!!!

Best wishes to you all.

I did notice how few options DL has to actually eat in the parks if you choose a sit down meal! I don't think that we will have many sit down meals before my Dh gets there, so I am not all that worried about it. I do plan on changing most of my ADR's today though...oh well!

Yes Disneyland doesn't seem to have enough sit down meal places imho, you have to plan in advance, little chance of 'winging' it on the day.

Ever had ones of those days, felt a pain in my shin / calf mussel on Wednesday night, got worse on Thursday so went to my local GP (Doctor) today expecting a strain.

I might have pulled a ligament, and its very painful, but the GP referred me to A&E (Accident and emergency) Hospital and I had to have tests and will be having injections all weekend every 24 hours until Monday. The mussel might have come off part of the bone, and they are worried about the possibility of DVT, so being careful.

Seems I have done a bit more damage than I thought, so feet up all weekend,

Mid-West mini meet, here we come! I made my ressies! Cheryl, Pamela, Tracy We are on our way!

I should probably explain about my cc. :confused3 I've got great credit, credit coming out of my ears. The wristband co. made a typo of the exp date and Chase shut down my card! Tink was not happy! (Tink is on my card!) So I had to call Chase and tell them it was me! :rotfl2: But I rather have Chase do that than have someone really mess with my cc!:thumbsup2

Happy Anniversary Pamela & Dan!!!

I still have my 'Sunshine Family' and their house! I thought I had gotten rid of them and my mom was th one that freaked out. I did eventually find them.:hyper:

Awww....the Sunshine Family. We had this one as well. I had forgotten all about it. Unfortunately, my mom didn't save any of our old toys. :worried: Although I can't save all of my kids' toys, I'm hoping to at least keep their Little People toys and their Lego sets along with some of their other favorites. We also have a nice collection of Fisher Price play food, the stuff you can't buy in the stores anymore. I'd like to keep most of their books as well, and we have a lot of books!

My company is pretty good about it because we use an intranet to access a lot of our company information.:surfweb: They do have blocked access for certain things and your supervisor is notified if you try to access. These even include sweepstakes (which they consider gambling) and of course porn. We have had staff fired for inappropriate internet usuage. I guess one has a severe online gambling problem.

A funny story. We have a company we used to use to develop our photos (before everything was digital) called Click. I went to what I thought was there website to get their store hours and ended up being blocked as it was photos but not the kind I want to look at!:scared1: I had a good time explaining that to my boss. (Actually she just laughed.)

Coral,
Have you read Fearless Fourteen yet? I just ordered from my book club and hope to get it next week. I read excepts online and it looks good (but aren't they all).

THAT is something we can all agree on for sure :rotfl:

NYC / NJ MINI MEET

Good morning everyone

The tentative date is August 3rd - more details to follow
You can read more about the meet here

Thanks again for arranging the wrist bands!

I also had my card shut down by Chase (at WDW) for too many "out of area" purchases and I had to call them to let them know I was on vacation and that the charges were okay. I agree, I'd rather be safe but before I leave for the TOAL, I'll be calling them ahead of time to let them know to expect lots of "out of area" charges.

Happy Anniversary Todd & Melissa!

I've been quoted the 90 minute rule at WDW too. However, I have never been kicked out of Goofy's. That's the character meal we do most often. I will stay until I've seen all the characters (there's usually 6-9 of them).

My only thought on your ressies. I don't think Goofy's is worth 2 dinners. In fact I'll never do dinner again at Goofy's, we always do brunch. It just didn't do it for me. Another good choice for dinner would be Steakhouse55 (haven't been there since they changed over though, went when it was Granville's), Wine Country Trattoria or Storytellers.

Steakhouse 55 is really good. My company has an expo at DLH every year and we always have dinner one night at Steakhouse 55. It can get pricey though, so consider that if you're taking your kids who may not eat everything on their plates! :)

Happy Anniversary and happy birthday to everyone celebrating today!
All I can say is TGIF!!!
