I am glad the weather was great!!! I wanted to be there so bad to meet everyone!!!

Oh, Crash has got the pitcures and has already promised us he will be "creative". I just asked for a little "airbrushing", if you please?

We were going to give you a call, but were afraid between you and Crash we would be sitting here, well, until now maybe, trying to get you two yappers off the phone .

We have been having a hard time deciding on if its worth it to eat a few days in restaraunts in DL too....We will probably do the Blue Bayou and Rainforest Cafe, our kids love that place!

The ESPN restaurant is good too and a whole lot cheaper than any of the DLR ones. Plus all of the games.

Honestly for me, I love eating out in the parks. I like slowing the day down a little bit and chilling with the kids. Some of my favorite memories are at mealtimes!

Like when DD2 dropped DD13's cell phone in a bowl of ice cream and threw a strawberry across the table at me and it landed in my glass of wine. It was HORRIBLE behavior that would normally not make me laugh, but I knew she was overtired (and well, 2) and needed some food in her tummy and this was her way of punishing me. DD13, DS12, DD9 and I were laughing so hard, we were crying!

It took alot of rubbing alcohol and Q-tips to fix that phone, but it still works!

UGH- I have no idea even what days I am going to do the parks, nevermind where I am eating. I suppose it is time to start planning that, huh?

Oh, that is right outside DL hotel...that would be a good early week stop as DD3 won't be with us yet!

Yes, you can pick up any phone in the parks or hotels and make ressies but I have to tell you I have never had good luck doing that.

Since this is our first trip to DL, we aren't making any PS's. We're just hoping to get most things in during the two days we're there. We'll actually be visiting San Diego and Legoland in addition to DLR. We're going to be ready to board on Sunday just to relax!

I was thinking that a pedicure/foot massage once on board on Sunday would be great after all the walking in DL/DCA.

I did a quick tally of the number GTY's from the cabin list that is started on the Pirate Zone. Obviously not complete but it gives you an idea of how many are waiting in each CAT.

only 60 days left and counting.........
so much going on! Its very exciting!

We went to DL this afternoon and had a ball. It was really crowded and hot, but since we didn't get there until 4ish, we missed alot of the heat. It was an absolute gorgeous evening!

I had to share the CUTEST thing I bought....its a antenae ball!

I really want to put it on our door decor or FE somehow, but I will have to make it theft proof first ! I just cracked up when I saw it!

Legoland is alot of fun. My 2 younger kids love it and DH and I do too. Its fun to let the kids have some freedom here compared to most parks. The lego creations all over are amazing, they now have the Vegas strip done in Lego's that is awesome! and the rides are fun but not crazy and wild. You can easily do this park in a day or less and the weather is usually great, sometimes even cool even on a hot day inland. Here are a few pix:

ACTUAL PLANNING ALERT...

Now that the time has arrived to make Priority Seating at Disneyland, where and when is everybody eating?

I have the Vineyard Room on the 15th at 7:30pm and Ariels Grotto on the 15th at 1:00 pm.

I plan on booking Lilo and Stitch on the 16th as late as possible in the morning. For the last night there, I am not sure what else to book!

We are in Concierge at the DL hotel so that should lessen our food needs...I figure with 3 teens and a tween, we get our money's worth from Concierge service!

We have ressies at the Vineyard Room on the 15th at 5pm so we'll see you there! We also made ressies at Steakhouse 55 for dinner on the 16th at 5:30. Never been to Steakhouse 55 but it sounds great! Loved the Vineyard Room when we tried it before.

Greetings from the Pine Creek Rail Trail

in the Grand Canyon of PA!

I'm having a great time - lots of biking, lots of beautiful pictures. Although it is mid-week and 24/7 with 2 co-workers is starting to get a bit old. Well, one in particular.

We're in a cabin half way up the trail with no cell service, but wifi. So I thought I woud check in.

Normally I'd book something... but with 15 days of great dining on the cruise, it seems superfluous to spend a lot on fancy meals in the park - especially since there are some great casual dining places their and at Downtown Disney. Of course, at DL you can spend a lot at the casual dining places as well....

We'll be at DL for 3 nights - arriving late on Thursday. We are planning on seeing all we can at DL and DCA in 2 days with 4 kids, 2 little ones. Our plan is to eat counter service on land to save time and money. Any recommendations are appreciated....
