Finally got around to opening my Saturday mail...

Disney Visa card bill....

For background... I paid my last month's bill about a week late (was soo busy at work - I plumb forgot). And was nervous that having paid late would cause my 6 mo interest free on my final TOAL payment to get voided.

But other than a late fee and $12 interest charge, the TOAL payment is still interest free! WHEW! I wouldve hated to shell out the cash now!

YEAH BABY! I feel good!

Hope everyone had a great holiday weekend..I can't believe in 6 weeks we will be on the ship! Made another trip to Company D today for DD to shop for her SM....she had lots of fun!

Didn't do much today outside of Co. D....pretty lazy day! Going to take my mom to some shop tomorrow to pick out the perfect feather for her hat for Pirate night...I have made a bunch of lists and need to start getting everything together.

I need to do the transfers for the Mickey Mouse Club t-**** and stop by Kinkos tomorrow to inquire on the banner.

I'm going to "stumble" upon DIS next week at work and then come home and show him. Hopefully he believes me!

And how will you explain your prior posts? You may want to think this one through.

One suggestion is to wait till the next thread starts (my guess - tomorrow or tuesday) then "find us" and introduce yourself "Hi, my wonderful fiance just told me... we are .... blah blah blah"

My family will be heading down to South Carolina later this week.

Last month my cousin lost her husband. Last night she lost her dad. He had a heart attack while at a BBQ in SC. His wife (my mom’s sister) keeps saying she just buried her son-in-law, now she has to bury her husband.

Once again our whole family is in shock. No one expected this.

My aunt and uncle were married for 38 years. I can’t imagine her without him.

Hi Everyone! I wasn't around much today. DS came home last night (he's been at the family cabin with my parents) and we all went to a local garden/museum called Cantigny today. It is the estate of Coronel Robert McCormick and the museum is about the Army's First Division (the Big Red One). The museum is very well done and the gardens are fantastic. Then DS and I went and spent a few hours at the local pool which was a nice break. He ran into some friends there and they played in the sand area which let me relax and read since he isn't likely to drown in the sand!

Yes, Tom - I know the thread is on the Pirate Zone board! I was just hoping someone would volunteer to compile a list so M & I don't have to It's not a huge project (just the couple pages on the VVVVV thread and looking through today's posts in case someone posted here that isn't over there) and I was hoping someone would have a little time to take it on.

Today I bought 3 (in a pkg) for .97 at WM. They look just like the ones provided on the ship. They were by the paint/tape section on the bottom shelf.

Thank you! I've heard that sometimes the stateroom hosts run out and I wouldn't think one of those would take much room/weight in the luggage.

If anyone is interested in a patch...they will be generic..it is a treasure map. It can be used for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts or just someone who likes patches.

I am talking with the company to see if my wording fits (I am over a few letters)

The patches are $2 each and you can pay me at the ship when you get your patch...I need to have an order of a min of 30 to order them and right now..we are only at 10///I want to order them this week. Please PM if you are interested.

I am surviving so far... (yeah no tall buildings to jump off of in Fredneck)

I am having lunch tomorrow with some peeps from my old office...

We'll see if going back there is a possibility...

I know i need to find something though... It makes it hard to even look being this close to the trip...

I feel doomed.... (and not being able to cancel stinks too... since trip insurance won't cover a job loss that is under 3 years)

I might have to stay away from here for awhile.... I'm just not feeling the excitement...
