8:15 CRT breakfast

I am back with more random questions!

1. If I have an 8:15 reservation, is it ok to line up right away with the first reservations? I'm just not sure how they seperate the 8:05 reservations from the 8:15 reservations (and so forth). I don't want to cheat anyone or skip the line, but I also want to get in as soon as we can!

2. Do they start letting people get the pics with Cinderella a little earlier than the restauraunt opens? Or do the photos start right at 8:05 and you head to eat right after?

3. How long should I expect to wait in line before meeting Cinderella?

4. At what time should we plan to arrive at MK to get to our reservation? What time will they let us in the park?

5. How long does breakfast generally last? I have been assuming we should be done around park opening at 9, but is that realistic?

Thanks in advance for any help!!

When the park first opens, there's really no difference between an 805, an 810, or even an 820 reservation. They want to get guests processed, and get the place moving. The same is true over at Crystal Palace. So if you get in and get in line right away, you may be at your table before your actual ADR time.

So I would try to be at the park entrance by about 740 so you can be near the front when the gates open.

I'm usually at CRT for about 70 minutes, but I'm very much the exception, as I happen to enjoy their food - almost inevitably, I finish eating in a near-empty restaurant, before the second "wave" of guests comes in. So I'm there until about 930.

Disclaimer - It's been about 14 months since I've been to CRT - the opening procedures could have changed since then.

Figure about an hour of dining.

And, it does not hurt anyone if you check in as soon as you get to the desk.
If they want to wait to seat you, they will do so.

Has anything changed for breakfast since the closure earlier this year, or can we still count on the same decor and $55 waffles?

We were there in Aug & this morning & I didn't notice anything different.

Decor appears to be the same. I don't think they have any $55 waffles, though. They would probably be really tasty if they did.

Oh, no, they are regular $5.00 waffles.
They just COST $55 in the castle.

Which brings to mind the question:

What's the difference between a $5 waffle and a $55 waffle?

1. Yes its fine to check in right away.
2. Our photos started when they called us in, we had to wait outside maybe a minute for them to get a hostess, you meet cinderella before you go to eat food.
3. We met her right away maybe 3 families in front of us.
4. Our bus didn't drop us off until 8:05 on the dot so we halled butt up to the castle, I was panicking thinking we were going to be late. According to my pic time stamp we were inside meeting Cinderella by 8:11am
5. Last princess on my time stamp on my camera shows 8:50am... Paid our bill we were out in the park at 9am, I felt very rushed during out CRT visit, like the servers were zipping around so fast.. you never had to ask for a refill because they were on it and with the bill too so quick.. They want to get you in and out!

I thought you had to prepay for CRT? What bill would there be? I assume you need to tip, but is there anything else?

If you are using the DDP you do not need to prepay. If you choose to pay OOP that day, you may do so.

OT but if anyone can answer I appreciate it. I heard that Rapunzel has been on the Princess rotation now that CRT has reopened. Is she still appearing?

We are staying off-site so will be paying OOP, and when I booked CRT, we had to prepay for everyone. That's why I was wondering what bill there would be, because I had to prepay.

My last trip we were not using the DDP so I also paid upfront at the time of my booking.

Okay, thanks! I was a just a little confused by the person who posted that they got their bill quickly. I thought you either had to prepay or you used a dining credit, so wasn't sure what the bill would be.

They gave us a paper copy because we had to prepay and wanted to use our Dining Credit insted - We booked our dining before we did the DDP and heard the horror stories of people losing their reservations with CM's changing from prepay to credit over the phone so we just kept it prepaid until we got there
