8:10 breakfast reservation. Chance of early entry into the park?

We are making our first trip to DLR and I'm trying to get our reservations sorted out. I figure the earlier the breakfast on our first park day, the better. As of now, the best I can get is 8:10. Will we have to wait until park opening to get to the restaurant, or is there a chance of early entry?

ETA: DL opens at 8 this day with no EE.

I am pretty sure they'll let you in right at 8 with everyone else. Make sure to go to the farthest left turnstile marked "Character Dining".

If you go to the Character Dining turnstile mentioned above, they will check your name against a list and then let you in as soon as they open the turnstiles. You should have plenty of time to get to the Plaza Inn. We did this over Easter and it worked out great!

They usually have the Minnie breakfast turnstiles open early so you can probably get in closer to 7:45 (or at least go ahead and get in line then).

Thank you! I'm used to WDW policy where we have to check in ~20 minutes early, so want to make sure I'm planning accordingly!

So glad to read this thread! I had heard about a "side entrance" for the character meal, but this makes much more sense. But will the Mad hatter be open that early to get our mouse ears in time for breakfast?

Without EE they usually open the turnstiles 20-30 minutes before park open anyway and allow guests onto Main Street so you shouldn't have any issue with arriving on time
