I drove a 1976 280Z for a couple of years - LOVED that car! I saw one a car museum and just seeing it brought back the smell of the interior. View attachment 816388
I'm not tech-y enough to post a picture, but Love's Baby Soft. There's a whole generation of us who went to high school in the early 70s that wore that scent religiously. I can still smell it.
just last week on the show 'the toys that built america' they featured play-doh. since the stuff was originally used to clean wallpaper there was some effort put into creating it's iconic scent so it would not longer smell like a cleaning product (i hate the smell myself).

I have a bottle of Love's Baby Soft and still spritz some on occasionally when I go out. I've had people ask me what scent I'm wearing. It's a nice, gentle fragrance.
One fregrance I would love to find again from those days is Jovan Grass Oil. I loved that. I believe you can still find the Musk Oil from the same maker (last I checked), but I haven’t been able to find the Grass Oil.
To this day I still like to buy some of these “oils” that come in rolling pens. I think it’s because they remind me of this.
ETA Well I found one on EBay, but it was a little pricey! (Shoot, I thought Whole Foods was bad!)
There is a website called wishbookweb that has decades of the Sears Christmas Wishbook catalogs uploaded page by page, as well as a few JC Penney, Wards, Spiegels, and others. I remember many of the individual catalogs and it’s fun going back and looking through the toys to see what toys I received what year.

This was my fragrance before I graduated to adding COTY Musk and Avon's Sweet Honesty.
When DD was young I would scour Walmart's shelves for some Love's Baby Soft, they had it every year at Christmas, I very much wanted her to have the same experience. It is tough to find other times of year.
This was my Grandma's favorite! I can still remember the lush poof with the tempting soft powder in the tub, the powder seemed so ladylike and glamorous to me back then
Fruit stripe gum. It seems it was discontinued in the last year or so. 3 or 4 months ago, I was thinking I should get some for the grandkids stockings, but alas great idea a year too late. I could probably get it for $10 a pack on Ebay, but I'm too cheap.
