70 to Freezing in 7 hours. A Nov/Dec 2011 trip report. Updated 4/28

Wowwowwewow life is busy! Between college work and work experience and actual job work and birthday I need more days in the week but hey distraction for 5 minutes for a trip update...

Day 6, part 6:

When I left you I was in the queue to see the best Mouse in the world Sorcerer Mickey. This pic is from photopass:

Then my own:

I have many picture of him in that outfit. That’s my favourite Mickey Mouse outfit! :lovestruc
After getting pics and all that with Mickey Mouse I then headed down to the Hundred Aker Wood to meet a bear with a rumbly in his tumbly:

He liked my flower pen and was sniffing it.
The Animation building also had displays of some things from the recent Disney movies so happy snappy got handy with the camera:

After exploring the displays I went back outside to find Momma but stopped along the way to take more pics:

A CM also stopped me to tell me he couldn’t hear himself over my t-shirt. (It was the tye-dye one, see Day 6, part 1 for pic) It may have been a little bright. We got complimented all over the park on our tye-dyes though. I love my crazy bright one. :goodvibes
Anyways I intended on going for food at this point as we hadn’t eaten since Starring Rolls that morning. I had finished half the cupcake waiting for Ariel but Momma hadn’t eaten anything and I figured she’d be starved but I had also mentioned some of the shows we’d never seen before so when I went out to Momma to go for food she had other ideas…

Next up: Lights, Food, Fantasmic

I love all of your photos! Sorcerer Mickey is one of my favorites, too!

I'm excited to hear about what all y'all saw next & what you ended up eating!

No time to sleep :scared1::scared1::scared1:

Well, since I've obviously been slacking...

Happy Birthday and Happy Easter!!! Even though I'm a little late on both of them.:rolleyes1

I agree with you about Sorcerer Mickey. I'm kind of partial to him too. I wish his background for pictures would be less "Hollywood" and more sorcerer-ish though. Maybe some brooms carrying buckets or something.:rotfl::lmao:

He is the best Mickey Mouse :) I suppose his background is because of the park he's in and it's park icon and all that it would be cool to have it more themed towards the movie though.

Happy Late Birthday...Happy Late Easter! I am a little behind...sorry!

How on earth did I miss the character spot in DHS with those CARS murals! Goo just saw them over my shoulder while I was reading and wanted to know why he did not get to see them!

I love the Peter Pan paintings. Those are really neat.
I thought so to :)

That character place is pretty well hidden. It's in the animation building which is near Ariel but you've to go under an arch beside the toilets and walk round to kind of the back of the Animation building... If you didn't know it was there you prob wouldn't go looking for it.

Stressed.com. Life has been way to busy. I've been way to emotional but 33 days and I'm finished the masters and then we'll get this trip report back on track!

No worries! We'll be here when you're ready to resume. And best of luck with all that you have going on! Don't forget to breathe! ;)

Thanks. Don't have time to breathe lol!

Killing time at the mo was supposed to do an interview for one of the college projects about half and hour ago but he's delayed for an hour so I come here to kill time.

Oh and everyone pray I'm watching emails like a hawk today to see if I get a new job opportunity.

I like the new smilies though esp :crazy2: it made me lol

Ok, I'm a little behind, but I'm going to blame the DIS, the slow, no notification, logging me out DIS!

I love the Animation Building! It's so nice to just look at all the art, and of the characters! I wonder why Pooh is there, he one you can find almost everywhere.

I think Pooh was there when we were there because at the time Winnie the Pooh was the last movie released. I think they have someone from the most recent movie the year before Toy Story 3 had just been out so Lotso was there.

Best of luck on the possible new job opportunity! pixiedust:
I haven't heard anything back from that so I'm guessing it's a no since it's extremely short notice.

You never know! But, if it doesn't come to fruition, it just means there's something better out there for you! :thumbsup2

Well that one would involve going into rehearsal on Monday and out of the country by next Friday... I'm going to go ahead and guess since she hasn't sent any mails or made any contact that the position has been filled.

As for something better it needs to be showing it's head fairly lively there.

I'm finished masters in three weeks and at the mo I'm staring at my tv documentary wondering what way exactly I'm going to chop it together it seems to be alot of interview and not so much alot of rehearsal which I originally planned. I'm at 6 mins def 7 mins maybe at the mo though and it has to be 15 but i've taken a major slump mood wise in the last month and I'm just wondering why am I bothering. That plus accommodation and finance worries now I am about ready to give it all up! :(

I am stressed, anxious, worried, upset and have the concentration of a goldfish! Have a trip update:

Day 6, part 7:
When I left you I had just come out of the Animation Building after fun with Disney friends and was trying to come up with somewhere to eat for Momma since we hadn't eaten since Starring Rolls. However I had mentioned two shows to Momma earlier in the day that we had never seen before one was Indiana Jones stunt show and the other Lights, Motor, Action Stunt show so LMA was about to start and Momma suggested we go there instead of getting food. Um ok... So along we went and wow what a cool show. It was interesting from the point of view that I'm doing television production as part of my masters so it was cool seeing how they shoot some of the scenes (look at me I'm studying on holiday) and the effects were just cool with all the fire. I thought it was brill and Momma loved it as well so double hit. Plus I took many pics:

After that we headed back up Sunset Boulevard
DSCF2630.jpg

We would normally go to Beauty and the Beast at this point but we actually skipped it for the first year ever :scared: but it was mainly because they had just opened the Fantasmic Theatre and knowing how fast that thing can fill up we decided to go in there instead.
DSCF2633.jpg

And Finally we got some food as well. Nothing to exciting just Hot Dog and chips but it filled a hole for a while considering we hadn't eaten for so long. Plus with Donald Duck on the packet the chips were always going to win with me:

Anyways it eventually got dark and Fantasmic started and I got camera happy again:

Fantasmic was amazing as always but we were both a little disappointed that they had taken Sorceror Mickey out of the end of the show :(
Also funny conversation with Mother and child beside me near the end Mickey comes out on the boat as Steam Boat Willie Mickey whatever then comes out a few seconds after boat goes around the corner in his black and red combo and small boy goes Mammy how did Mickey get off the boat and changed so fast and mammy replies Mickey wasn't on the boat. Little boy goes yes he was mammy I saw him on the top of the boat how did he do that. Mammy replies he wasn't on the boat now be quiet and watch the show! :rotfl:
Anyways we left Fantasmic theatre and battled our way through the queue for the next show back down Sunset Boulevard and little miss snappy took pics along the way:

Do they change that Power Ranger every so often because I could have sworn it was red in 2010.
We saw like 1 minute of Mulch Sweat & Shears before heading to our next destination:

Next up: IT'S SNOWING MOMMA!

I hope things get better for you soon! :goodvibes

I'm excited to see the Lights Motor Action show now that Lightning McQueen has a part in it. I think Reid will like that.

Love Fantasmic! Such a great show!

I just wanted you to know I am here and praying for things to ease up on you! LOVE the pics and latest update! Hang in there.:hug:
