I'm so glad you have a 12 year old daughter. Bethie is rather shy as well...and is nervous about meeting other kids. We'll have to get those two together.

We are staying in cabin 7120...if we happen to miss you at the meet, then by all means come find us. We'll be at the sail away party on deck 10 on the left side of the boat.

Whoooo hooo! It's official! I've got paperwork that says I can get on the boat. I've got passports. I've got new swim shoes for the daughter. Can we go now?

Oh...and I've discovered something new!!! My Goddaughter, who happens to be a cast member at Disney World (not that I'm bragging) has said that all the characters are wearing a new sunscreen called Neutrogena Dry Touch, or something like that. It comes in really high SPF....all the way up to 100! And it's not gooey...you rub it in and it's dry. I bought two bottles for the trip...my family and I are rather pigmentally-challenged.

I love scrapbooking!!! Of course, I'm officially three trips behind now. I figure....if I don't eat or sleep between now and then, I might be able to get two of those books finished. It would sure help if my husband didn't take such wonderful pictures. Mutton-head.

Gosh, I'm looking forward to meeting all of you. Are we going to have a meet-up on the boat? You'll know me....I'll be the goofy blonde lady in the NASA shirt trying to get your kids to let me teach them science while wildly flapping around like some demented bird with a urinary tract infection. Sorry about that in advance.

I have never flown american airline before...I have not flown since 9/11 for that matter so I am not sure what I can bring in a checked bag?? ie. shampoo, makeup...size bottle...do they have to be a baggie??? no one answers the phone for anything for AA and the web sites contradict each other.....help??????

Here is a link to TSA's website. In this website, they explain everything that you can check, everything that you can carry on, and what they will not allow.

Basically, you can't carry on more than a 3.4 oz bottle of any liquid, and those bottles much be put in a quart sized ziplock bag. You can have one ziplock bag per person traveling. And those bags will need to be pulled out of your carryon and sent through security separately.

I know it sounds like a huge hassle, but the TSA folks are really patient, and I just think about how they are keeping us safe.

We have decided on no tux for the guys, rather spend the $$ in the excursions, other than that I'll be working on the paperwork this weekend, whatever we are taking is already in the cleaners (if needed), haven't get my FE yet but I went shopping for goodies for the kids yesterday, so far I got the girls, MY3M spreadsheet has been really helpful! We are very exited, and I can't wait, I just hope my teen DS like it, blessings Elcka

Thank you so much that helped very much...the only thing I didnt find was spray sun screen-can I pack it in a checked bag or not....My kids hate sun screen so this is great for me to get it on quickly...well just to get it on them for that matter!!!

Great! just for you to feel at ease, my DH asnd I only travel AA domestic and international and had never had a problem, in the other hand my friends many times complaint about other airlines, so you'll have a happy trip (food is not that good tought)

Can't wait to get on board... I can't stop dwelling out on the trip. I have to make a promise, please ask me if I cleaned my basement when meet on the cruise. I need to do some goal setting..

Great news! we were invited to a DVC members event (opening of Bay Lake Towers), so we'll be in Disney the night of the 24th, haven't get the hotel yet, leaning towards one of the All Stars to save some $$, but there is specials for the AKL, let me know where you guys are staying.
