7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise July 25 - August 1, 2009

After our first Disney Cruise on September 08 , we lost the camera with aaaalll the cruise pictures, we only had a couple of the ones we purchased in the ship, and we look for it like crazy, my DS just called me he FOUND THE CAMERA inside a zipper in my DD pool bag, can't wait for him to get home I can assure you that I'll cry I haven't see those pictures!! God is good all the time and all the time God is good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yay!!!! What a nice surprise and maybe a sign that you will more pixie dust on the way :wizard:

Looks like everything is set for our FE. The only thing in my list that needed confirmation is from Disney Davs, SR 8000 and SR 6514 (Susan).

and looks like they're in.

PM me with your e-mai address if you want a copy of the list and the deck plan I made in one page with all the SR participating and the easiest route. I will try to print out 20 copies of each and distribute it during our DIS meet and if I miss the DIS meet, will put it n ur FE early Sunday morning, Key West day.

I have seen several different ideas for fe gifts I thought you were supposed to give things from the place you are from but many of them just said candy and glow sticks things of that nature I think it would be cool for kids and adults alike to get things they cant get where they live along with candy and such......I saw it costs about $9 for a bag of m&ms at the theater so I think candy is a good thing to give!! any input??popcorn::

That's wonderful, I'm so happy for you!!!!
My last trip to Disney we took our memory card to Walmart to have them put it all on a disc, and they deleted my card!! I luckily had taken a few with another camera and when they deleted it, they printed up the index cards. I was able to blow those up to 8x10's and we can see them a little better.
So I know how you feel. I can just imagine how I would feel if someone suddenly could replace all of those for me. Congratulations!!!

Hi Sue,

Are you the one from SR #6514?

I am not the same Sue

Susan C , RJ and Ron are really looking forward to FE, we even got our gifts a couple of days ago in the mail.. we are in 6514...

I'm so excited..I just can't hide it.. :cool1:

Hi
From what I have read, anything goes with the FE gifts. Some people give gifts from were they are from, some give little toys, disney items, candy, homemade gifts etc.

Some give to each member of the family and others just give a family gift.

I think some exchanges might set more "rules" for the gift giving, by saying bring something from your home town, but most just have it be a free for all and anything goes as it's all just for fun.

I have never done one before, but on my last cruise we had a dismeet and our wonderful organizer gave out a gift to each of us and made all of us magnetics for our doors, two for each door, one for everyday and one for pirate night. It was very sweet of her and she was the only one who gave gifts. ( I should add we were a smaller group) Everyone was very touched by her. She is someone who cruises alot!

I say have fun with the exchange and each gift is a wonderful thing to receive as someone thought of you when they placed it in your FE !:thumbsup

Just checking I have never done this before either....I've never been on a cruise before so it is totally new to me. Just wanted to make sure I do it right!!

I'm sure whatever you give will be very appreciated by the person who receives it!

On another note: don't recall off hand how old your children are, but alot of people will put small gifts on their kids pillows each night as "pixie dust" gifts. Some even give the gifts to their stateroom host to place on the bed after they make it up. others just go back to the room before their family does to place the items out.

On our last cruise I left gifts for my two younger children with a note to the stateroom host and they place the items on the childrens beds for me. One was a pretty cinderella nightgrown for my daughter and they arranged it on her bed really cute.

Have fun with it all, it's all so much fun!
