My advice,

Book private tours in St Petersburg, with a company like Anasastia travel, as DCL tours clash and you can't do everything.

I completely agree about a private tour for St. Petersburg. There is so much to see and if you can go as part of a smaller group, it is so much more efficient. You don't have to wait for 40 or more people to get on and off the bus. You can often tailor the smaller tours to what you want to see the most too. If you find a tour company, I am sure you will find others on your cruise that would be willing to join your group.
