We are going on the Western Cruise. Which night would be best to book for Palos? I dont want to miss that rest. that changes colour.

We still don't know for sure what night they'll be having the special menus and which nights you'll have the rotation menu themes... so we don't know for sure which visit to Animator's Palate will be the one with the "light show". I'm sure we'll have more details after the inaugural western sailing on 5/11.

The restaurant that changes color is called Animator's Palate and it will change color on one of the two nights you'll be there.

Lumiere's is one of the other restaurants and it is themed from Beauty and the Beast and is a little more formal than the others.

Parrot Cay is the third restaurant and has a Caribbean theme, it's more casual.

You won't know your dining rotation until you check in and get your KTTW Card (Key To The World) that has your rotation listed on it. There is also a paper card in your cabin that will have the rotation listed on it as well.

Since you can't tell what night you'll be in each restaurant now, it would be best to make the final decision after you check in at the port. You could try to decide which restaurant you're willing to skip now, but you'll need to remain flexible about the exact nights.

Some people prefer to skip Parrot Cay for Palos, some prefer to go on the formal or semi-formal night regardless of which restaurant they'd be in.

One possible rotation would be LAPLAPL so if you wanted to skip your second visit to Parrot Cay, it would be on Thursday.

hope that helps

A salute to the diversity of the Disney family. A special dinner allows the executive chef, chefs de cuisine, sous chefs, pastry
chefs and the rest of the culinary team to showcase some of the favorite dishes from all of the countries represented within Disney. Dining rooms will have a multi-national decor
Crew "farewell" event

NOTE: All items are subject to change and are not offered on every cruise.

We look forward to the chance to sail with you.

Sincerely,
