How hard is it to get a 1 bedroom villa at 7 months at Kidani using points during dream season? Or a 2 bedroom anywhere?

Looking into buying but wondering how easy it would be to stay somewhere other then our home resort when only allowed to do so at 7 months.

When do you plan on going? No idea what dream season is. From Sept through the marathon in January you need to book your home resort at 11 months out and then see if anything is left to book as an alternative. Same for holidays and Run Disney events. Otherwise, early May isn't bad.

One bedroom villas are usually easier to book at seven months out than studios or even two bedroom villas. One bedrooms usually have about the same occupancy as studios and lots of renters don't mind squeezing into one room (they are used to it with value and moderate resorts). Me? I live the space in the one bedroom villa with the king sized bed for the two of us. I use double the points, but I get my luxury space.

Now two bedrooms are for those bigger groups who can't all fit in a studio, so they go faster than one bedrooms.

1Brs are always easiest. In general, if you book at 7 months, you should be able to get a 1BR most of the year with small risk of needing to waitlist for certain dates like marathon.

2BR can be harder. While most resorts (save Poly and BWV) have dedicated 2BR units, lock-offs will often be gone entirely at 7 months during high seasons (September-marathon) due to studio booking. In the lower demand season, you will often be able to get a 2BR at AKV and other resorts, including BLT.

In general all booking at 7 months is more challenging as thousands are added to the ownership. One bedrooms can still be had but for how long?
