7 Month Window @ BWV in early December

Was just wondering if anyone has had experience at booking a standard view studio at BWV (Sun-Thurs) in early December (Adventure Season) at the 7 month window. It seems this time of year is getting more popular every year with guests coming to see the holiday decorations and MVMCP.

You would need a truckload of pixiedust to get a standard view room at 7 months for early December. Some members have been unable to get these rooms at 11 months! Your best bet would be to call at exactly 7 months and get any individual dates that might be available and waitlist for others. If you really want to go at that time, you had better have a back-up reservation somewhere else.

I called exactly at 7 month mark and got BWV for this year and last year we got Beach CLub .

I should have specified that a preferred pool/garden view room might be available at 7 months. The standard view room that the OP mentioned will be very, very unlikely to be available at 7 months for early December.

Your chances would be slim for standard view. They are tough to get at 11 months for food & wine and early December dates. There are some recent posts where people could not get standard view at 11 months for mid October. I've been a member since 1999 and have gone many times at the beginning of December and it's always been popular for members.

For early December? BWV standard view? Some times of year are easier than others. Pool/Garden view is easier to get.

I couldn't even get a standard view at seven months for during the week at the end of January. In Dec, I'd think you'd have to have nearly perfect timing and luck. In fact, I'd consider myself fortunate if I got any BWV at 7 months for December.

Standard view are only about 20% of the resort. (Boardwalk View are another 20% - with Preferred View making up the rest). Because Standard View rooms are such a bargain, and Boardwalk View rooms get a great guarenteed view - those rooms tend to go first, leaving the preferred views available. At many times of year, by the time the 7 month window opens up, well over 40% of the resort has been booked by BWV owners - leaving only preferred pool garden bookable During early December and parts of Food and Wine, its more like 80-100% of the rooms have been booked by BWV owners - so folks getting a standard view or boardwalk view during those times must have had a visit from Tinkerbelle.

Boardwalk owners pay some of the highest dues in the system - but we do get the advantage in booking these in demand rooms.

Those rooms could be gone at 10 months out. Seven months, not a good chance at all.
