7 month mark at SS or OKW the week of Thanksgiving even a possibility???

Newbie here-so new that the ink on our contract isn't dry yet lol. Anyone have success booking at 7 months for holiday weeks? I'm hoping for 4 nights but assuming success rate is pretty low.

The good news is that those resorts are large and often do have inventory available 7 months out. The bad news, obviously, is it's a busy time. You probably will have a tough time getting a studio, and a tough time getting the 'near hospitality house' category at OKW, or the 'non-preferred' category at SS - not impossible, but they go quicker because they're less points. But depending on the days of the week, and if you're OK with a more expensive 1BR/2BR, you might have a shot. Be ready at 7 months!

Sounds like you have a new contract? Since you're talking a 7-month reservation at SS/OKW, assuming that's not your new home resort? Perhaps make an 11-month reservation for the nights you want in November, and then change if it's available? Unless your home resort isn't in Orlando!! Good luck. Hope it works out for you.
