7 month booking question

We currently are booked at our home resort for October, but we are looking at trying to change it to VWL at the 7 month mark. Because of the number of points we have available we are looking to book a 2BR for 6 nights and then a Studio for the 7th night. I know you can book 7 nights in a row at the 7 month mark, but do all 7 nights have to be the same room? We would be at the same resort, but different rooms.

You will not be able to book all 7 nights right at the 7 month mark because of the different type rooms.

Different resorts or different size villas are separate reservations.

But, may I make a suggestion? Book the one night in the studio for the first night and then make the six night reservation for the one bedroom. It's so much easier to move up to a larger villa from a smaller one than vice versa.

Thanks. I thought that was the case. The reason we are going from a 2BR to a studio on the last night is because I figure we will just sleep in the room that night, get up and head for our flight in the morning. Thanks for the suggestion though. If it was more than one night I'm sure we would have the larger room the last part of the trip.
