7 Miles Sail or Snorkel??

Has anyone done this excursion?? Is it worth it?? Or is it better to just try to get to the beach on your own. Seems like you can get to the beach in the Caymans for around $5 per person, one way. So maybe it's better to try to get there on our own. Or, does anyone know of any non-beach, non-island tour excursions.

How about the snorleling at Chankanaab National Park in Cozumel... worth it, we were just planning on getting to Mr Sancho's or Paradise Beach on our own, but would it be worth it to try an excursion in Cozumel as well... Figured for the two of us, we will spend $30 plus to get to one of the beaches. Didn't know if it would be worth it to spend a little extra to go someplace that sounded less touristy.

When we were recently on GC we just grabbed a cab and went to Hell and then had him wait and then drop us at the Courtyard Beach. It was $10 per person and he waited for us and gave us some island info on the way. Not a real tour and our friends wanted to go to Hell so we did. It was easy finding a cab at the pier, as they are all there waiting. We grabbed a cab from the beach back to town for $4 per person. There were plenty of them waiting at the beach to return to town.
