I loooove my sevens. I got the basic bootcuts for $132 at Macy's a little over a year ago because I wasn't sure about spending so much on jeans but they have been fabulous for me. I wear them all the time and wash them quite often and they haven't stretched out or faded. I also like how soft the cotton feels on them. So much better than other jeans I own.

I would definetly get them for her if she's tried them on and they fit.

I've seen Lucky and Seven jeans in other places- I think I saw a Lucky pair once at either Marshalls or TJ Maxx. I 've seen 7, Lucky and a ton of all the other expensive pairs at a local "designer" thrift shop. Even priced at $30 a pair, I still won't buy them !

I've never tried 7 or Lucky, but my favorite jeans this year are a pair that I found in a bag in my closet that I had picked up at Kmart after the hurricane last year and forgot about. I think the price on the tag was $14. Woohoo! I love cheap jeans!

Oh I'm sure she gave you the store name or website but just verify before you buy that the name is 7 for all Mankind and not Seven or Sevens. The Seven/Sevens is a cheaper brand of jeans sold in department stores and use to be sold at express to trick people into thinking they were the same thing. Express got sued and pulled them from the shelves a year or so ago.

go to the company website and there's a page dedicated to confirming authenticity. then go to ebay to find what your looking for new with tags for half the price.

my wife has 3 pairs of 7's plus 1 pair of knock offs. there is quite a difference, especially as it relates to the gluteus, or buttocks, whichever term you prefer.
