Worst day at work

Ever have a day where you just think "I can't do this, I need my mental health..."

What on earth am I going to have to look forward to when we get home from this trip??

I think we are all at that stage of mental health day needed.......its just that time of the year....getting cold, people are tired and grumpy and the kids are restless.....

I just cancelled a booking on one website and rebooked on another for the same nights and saved $55



Like my DH just said "thats an extra pair of shoes you can buy"...

I booed more than 6months out for two laces in Anaheim as I wanted the family suites, they are both SO now and have been for over a month, so no hope of getting cheaper prices there! I am holding out for a good sale in Vegas, I have booked and I think it's an ok price but it's easily cancelled if something else comes up.

Places like Yosemite and the GC are exy in comparison and also SO now, with most hotels/accommodations having great cancelation policies it's better to book in advance and change if necessary.

I just want it to hurry up and get here now!!

I stayed at the airport hilton at LAX once (it was free, courtesy of American Airlines) and it was great. Nice restaurant, free shuttle to the airport, room was nice. We had a great view of LAX, DS loved watching the planes take off and land.

you really cant go wrong with any 3.5-5 star hotels around lax...just make sure they have shuttle..I've stayed hilton, westin, marriott...all great, the marriot bar has the best hamburgers
staying at ramada this time, $67 a night {3.5 star}.....thank you hotels.com, the pool looks good
dont pay anymore than $80-$100 for a 4 star...........

Our flight from NYC doesn't get in until midnight and we'll be on NYC time so 3am
It's only somewhere to lay our head so we're not too fussy.
MY DH stayed at one of the LAX hotels years ago, about 8 years he tells me and it cost his work about $300USD at the time, my how things have changed.

This morning I am taking comfort in the fact that my footy team most likely will not make the finals so do not have to worry that we'll be away for finals time...

My DH would have not let me forget it otherwise

Got my confirmation email to add a child onto my booking at MCO, got that at a great rate $102 USD inc tax

Just two more hotel bookings to make/decide on, LAX and NYC

We really gotta knuckle down and save some $$ LOL

Oh, and my DH came home last night and tells me he got a speeding fine...

good luck with the accommodation... we did the pod hotel in nyc.. 179 a night for a double room, 149 a night for the single.

might not work for a family, but sure worked for us adults..
