Has there been an official Disney confirm on the soft opening date on the 7 Dwarfs Mine Train Ride and would this just be limited to press or the general public?

All I have heard is that there's is a media event scheduled for April 30-May 2 and a dedication ceremony/ribbon cutting event on May 2 in the morning.

Correct reports on twitter from several sources had said May 2nd 10:15am will be the opening ceremony. April 30th will be a media and the DIS team will be there.

Ok . . . thxs. Spoke with a Disney rep today and they were clueless on a confirm for the soft opening date.

Obviously you have been working at the fastpass+ Kiosk. I don't think he was trying to be careless about emotions by using the word "Clueless." I say it often about myself when someone asks me about a project around town people think I should know, "I'm sorry but, I'm clueless as to what is going on there."

We all get how being a CM can be tough. Lord knows I wouldn't want to deal with a Disney fan 98.9% of the time in the light most of you deal with them.

No one ever knows when a new attraction will begin soft openings. Not only do we not know when they start there's also no schedule to them. Attractions open and close at the drop of a hat without notice. I'm sure once Seven Dwarfs opens for soft opening it will be plastered all over the DIS.
