Woohoo, it's almost time for my hen party at DLP! Soon to be DH is going on his stag do at the same time and even staying in the same hotel but we're not planning on touring together.

We're booked on the VEA shuttle, is it clear where to catch that from the airport? If I remember correctly, it's a regular service and you just catch the next one when you arrive, you haven't paid for a specific jorney yes?

We're all staying at the Sequoia Lodge, only ever stayed at Explorer's before so this should be a nice change. Is there a nice bar area there for the evenings, will I have to get a re-mortgage in order to afford a round? What's the pool like - your opinions rather than the facilities available.

Pretty strapped for cash what with the wedding coming up so we're sticking to the counter services for 3 days. Anywhere/thing you recommend? I have a strict vegan with a severe onion allergy with me (this will be fun eh?) Where is likely to be best for her?

I'm seeing that the parks are going to be scheduled 10am - 7pm (we're there 7th - 9th Sept), as we're on property we qualify for EMH so we should be ok to go in from 8am, correct?

What kind of food is there at breakfast?

What are the coffee making facilities like in the rooms? My MOH doesn't function without caffeine! LOL Is there decent coffee in the parks?

On the day we check out, we don't actually fly until 9pm? Can we leave our cases at the hotel with Bell Services or the French equivalent during the day?

Has POTC been updated to include Jack Sparrow like the US parks?

Thanks guys!

I can answer a few if those questions. No POTC doesn't have Captain Jack in it, and it has no plans to add it.

Yes you can go in at 8am for EMH.

Sequoia Lodge breakfast (never stayed there) but I guess it is cereal, fruit, pasteries, juices etc.

Not sure about coffee making facilities in your room. You might be able to request it, but we always bring our own.

Not sure about bell services, I know hotel New York does this. If your hotel does not there are big lockers in the station where you can store things.

I hope you have a fab hen do!!

Hi!! Great idea for a Hen do at DLRP!! I would love to do that but I don't think fiancee would let me out of his sight for that long!

There is a bar in the Sequoia Lodge, but I can't help you with prices. It looks lovely though.

8am start when onsite- Correct!

Breakfast is mainly croissants, cold meats, cheeses, breads, jams, aioli, pain au chocolat, fruit salads, etc.

You can hire a kettle at reception I believe.

POTC doesn't have Jack Sparrow in, no.

Hope thats helped a bit!!

The bar at Sequioa is lovely - the nicest in DLP I think. Cocktails are €6 or €7 I think.
You can also use the bars in the other hotels as well - all within 5-10 mins walk from SL. The prices go up in line with hotel prices so drinks are probably cheaper at Cheyenne and Santa Fe but more expensive at NY NPB and DLH

The swimming pool is also very nice - not massive but big enough to swim in. It was reasonable warm and there is also a jacuzzi. It was nice ebing able to swim outside when we were there- there is a door which lifts up allowing access to outside

i think all your other questions have been answered.

Hi Sophie :wave2: Same as WDW there is only Nescafe onsite... which is most definitely not coffee :surfweb:

Have a look at the Very Useful Info sticky regarding dietry information. In the table service restaurants it would probably be easier to get vegetarian selections but hopefully others with direct experience of the counter service places can help :)

We can recommend the Agrabah cafe as having lots of choice for vegetarians - its a buffet though not CS. Theres lots of pics on the restauarnt sticky

Hi, we get there the day you leave, also staying at SL - stayed there 3 times before.

Breakfast is as per previous posts.

You can request a kettle from housekeeping and buy a drinks pack from reception (teabags, coffee and sugar sachets and milk and 2 paper cups) I would recommend taking a plastic mug of your own and decent coffee/tea bags if you need it.

The bar is really nice with cosy seating areas as well as some nice sofas and your usual tables and chairs.

If your friend has a serious allergy then it might be worth contacting DLRP dieticians and they can advise you about what will contain onions etc - not sure how you do this but I am sure there was a recent thread about this.

- We found the VEA shuttle was a little tricky to find last time but I think it also depends which terminal you are at too. But yeah its a regular service and you pay when you get on.
There's also other companies like taxi's/private shuttles which are great- we used BS Transports on the way back last time and have booked them for next week. That costs 70euros for three people though. It's a little more than the VEA.

- The bar is really nice at SL, it was quite busy when we were there though and never really managed to get a seat in there LOL. But it was the Christmas season. But its lovely and we thought the drink prices were good too.

- The breakfasts are really good there. There is a big selection with cereal, toast, croissonts, cheeses, meats, bread rolls, fruit salad. Plenty really. Much more than we expected.

Hope you have a fantastic time!! :wizard: We'll be there the same time but im staying at NPB.

Ashleigh x

Thanks for all that info guys.

Just wondering if anyone knows what time the close the pool at the Sequoia?

Think it might have been about 10.00 when we were there but not entirely certain
