So I'll be sleeping on his floor tonight! I feel so bad for the little fella. He is just over 2 years old and hardly ever sick. He has only been on anitbiotics ONCE in his life! He seems to be handling this fever very well! He had a 3 hours nap this afternoon and woke up very happy. We watched Toy Story 2 in silence and eat only dry Cheerios. We all have some form of cold right now. I think we'll do a trip to the clinic tomorrow ~ ear infection I guess. I had dd stays healthy. We have to drap dd's heart meds to WDW so one or two more anitbiotics might come along too! I ironed all our clothes and they are ready for packing later in the week. I was going to volunteer at dd's school on Monday, but ds has to come with me and I don't want him in school with 600 other kids ~ who knows what else he'll (we'll) pick up. I think he'll be okay! He is looking forward to this trip. I think Dumbo ride tops his list! And the castle. I never seen a little boy so in love with a castle! Update tommorrow! Sandra

Oh Sandra, that is terrible. Kids do have a way of recovering very quickly though. I'm sure he'll be fine in time for your trip.

Hi, THANKS! It's just after 7am Sunday. ds slept well, but needed Tylenol a couple times during the night. He's hardly ever been sick. At 5:45am he was trying to throw up and couldn't, he doesn't seem to know how! He chugged back a lot of water this morning and eat a little oatmeal. He seems better, but I still worry! THX again! Sandra

Oh dear!:( Sandra I think that's he'll be great and fit as a fiddle when you leave in a few days! Better to get it all out at home and be ready to have fun at Disney!:sunny: :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

Sandra I know exactly what you are going through. Went through this with youngest DS last week, now after all three have had it everyone seems to be almost 100%. Better now than next week. I also end up sleeping on the floor or in their bed, or them in our bed with lots of towels around us just in case. I guess this is a mothers duty (LOL). We also had a hard time getting the fever down, turned out to be strep. THe nice thing is the little ones seem to bounce back quick. SO excited for you, just think next week at this time you will be in the Magic Kingdom ( the kids will be healthy) an you won't be able to wipe the smile from your face!

Just read your post and it always amazes me how we escaped sickness on our past three holidays.
My three guys (all under ten) are prone to ear infections (eustachian tube doesn't drain)
and stuff. I take a pharmacy with me. I keep on hand tylenol supposotories which I have only
used once. Why? That high fever combined with vomiting won't come down if they
are throwing up the tylenol. Of course you must be very careful etc. but it is good for an emergency.
We just went on holiday and I took antiobiotics with me just in case of an ear infection.
I would absolutely have a doctor check the ear but at least I had it on hand.
Have a great trip now that things are better.
