All caught up again; you've been busy! Great updates!
Denise
Thanks!
YAY more updates! Sorry I missed a few pages, but you know I've been on a little adventure of my own!
Great updates. Sorry about the crowds at DHS. It seems that you have to hit that park on just the right day anymore, otherwise it's so packed. But all in all it looks like you had a great day!
Looks like a great day at Epcot, except for the rain. Akershus sounds wonderful. One of those places that a mom of 2 boys will probably never get to visit!
Em looks so happy getting to see all the princesses.
Can't wait for more!
Luckily the rain was finished by the time we came out of Akershus.
Your boys should take YOU to Akershus or CRT! You're never too old to meet the princesses!
Can't wait to hear all about your trip! I'm sure the boys had a blast with all those water slides.
So glad Andrew got to do the jedi training !

We were in DHS that same day - I don't remember the clouds being so cloudy

. We stayed for Fantasmic!
Funny- I didn't remember it being that cloudy either.

When I got home and uploaded my pics I was surprised at the amount of clouds. How was Fantasmic? I've yet to see it.

We thought about it but weren't sure how the kids would do with it. We may do it next time when they might not get too scared.
Awww, look at the Little Princess meeting the Princesses.
So dang sweet.
I really loved her little face all bright and shiney with excitement--- so cute.
Glad you got to do Soarin'-- and maybe next trip Em can ride too.
So happy Andrew is feeling better now--- how scary.
Waiting for the rest of the day.
Jo
PS---
(OT---- Welcome Home Shelly! Can't wait to hear all about it.

Forget the laundry- we want a mini TR and pics.

)
It was *so dang sweet* !!! I had trouble holding the camera because her little facial expressions were so funny. Em is like me when it comes to rides. She was sad she wasn't allowed on some things. Andrew is like his daddy- had to convince them both to get on the Tea Cups for pete's sake! I can't wait until Em is big enough so I'll have a riding partner for all the fast rides!
Subbing! I love your trip report so far! My kids will be these ages when we take a trip sometime LOL, so I couldn't resist reading.
How brave of your DS to do the Jedi training. My DS is really shy and never would have answered the questions. (he also can not follow directions and would have run around fighting the other kids and screaming...)
Those pictures of your DD and the princesses are so sweet. I keep trying to convince DH that we need to see some princesses, now that we have a DD! (He's not buying it, since she's a baby...)
I love those little license plates on the back of your stroller. Where did you get them? And can I ask what kind of stroller you have? We're thinking about getting a double for Disney. Do you think it's worth it not to have two singles? DD will probably be in the sling a lot this year still, but not all the time, and probably will need a stroller most of the time next year.
Sorry for all the questions! I'm really enjoying your trip report! Can't wait to read more!

First and foremost...your little princess DOES need to see some princesses, there is not age requirement. I couldn't see forking out all the $$ for Cindy's Royal Table so we did Akershus. It was a great experience for her and we got some great food so it was a win-win for everyone.
Perhaps DS will be ready for the Jedi training by the time you go. Maybe stand and watch it first so he will know what to expect. My DS loved it and still talks about it every day!
Double stroller- Here's my take on it: Last year we took 2 singles and vowed never to do it again. On the buses, I had both kids (ages 1 and 4 at the time) while DH struggled with 2 strollers. We hated it. Plus my DS didn't ride all the time and many occasions we found ourselves pushing an empty one and sometimes one of us was trying to push both strollers. Wouldn't do it again if you paid me. This trip we took a double. It's a Maclaren- got it off of Craigslist for $100. I bought it because I am a family child care provider and needed it for my business, of course I had the idea of using it for Disney in the back of my mind when I bought it.

It folds up small like 2 umbrellas together, doesn't weigh tons, and can hold up to 55lbs in each seat. It is used daily for bus stop runs and walks and it is still in excellent condition. Our next trip (which will be a couple years from now

) we will be flying instead of driving and have decided that we will rent from Disney since our kids will be a bit older and capable of walking more.
Hope that helped!
Just found your trip report and enjoyed reading what you've written so far. We were there 1/27 - 2/4 and saw a lot of Brazilian tour groups too. You took a much more relaxed approach to the trip, which I hope to do next time. I was a mom-on-a-mission (ride as many rides as we possibly could!) and hope to do a better mix of rides and experiences next time.
I can't wait to read more!
The relaxed approach was really what we needed this time around. I'm so glad we did it that way.

It made it feel like a real vacation and we weren't as worn out when we came home.
