7-Day Formal/ Informal ladies dress?

Help fellow ladies!!! On the 7-day Magic cruises how do the ladies dress on formal the night and informal? Do most wear long gowns? Many black, white or red dresses? Just trying to figure it all out? I figure that most wear shorter dresses for informal night.

Here is what DD (13) and I are wearing.

Formal night:

Me: midnight blue floor length gown with beaded bodice, spaghetti straps and a matching stole

DD: Deep pink/coral floor length gown in a princess cut and straps that are about 2" wide and sort of ruffled and a little bit of beading around the neckline (very ingenue)

Semi-formal night:

Me: The sweetest little black dress I've ever seen/worn in a sort of sheath style with a little bit of cowling at the neckline and black ribbon accent on one shouler

DD: Coral shantung dressy pantsuit - sleeveless top with a little bit of beaded embellishment and back zip pants (very dressy and it was a steal at Penny's last fall for only $15!)

i have a white and black short cocktail dress with black spaghetti straps for the formal night, and for the semi-formal night, a gold/brown short dress. a little less formal than the black and white dress.

i love to dress up, so I am looking forward to it. I don't get to dress up that often!

question for the ladies in this thread... what is your husband/signifigant other wearing for these evenings? are they bringing a suit, or renting a tux onboard??

From what I have read so far is that most men wear a dark suit. DH has a tux but we are leaning towards his black suit and a few Mickey ties.

Maybe I'm being to casual (hope not!!), but I am trying to preserve packing space.

I have planned for a black crepe pantsuit for both nights. I have different silk shells to wear under the suit an different shoes and accessories as well.

My husband is wearing a black suit both nights with different shirts (white formal, french blue semi formal) and Disney ties.

I hope this works! We plan to be in Palo on formal night (Thursday from what I understand now on the Western) which is also my hubby's birthday!

What about Navy Blazer and dress slacks for men? Rather than a suit.

My hubby is wearing his tux (owns one because we were attending so many black tie events for my work that it was cheaper to buy than rent) with different accessories on formal and semi-formal.

DS (15 almost 16) will be renting a tux onboard. He doesn't own a suit and this is less expensive and the least hassle!

My husband wears his tux on the formal night and I wear my black cocktail dress with beading. On semi-formal he wears a dark suit and I wear a simple black cocktail dress. Kathy

On Formal night I wear long black gown with spaghetti straps and DD's wear either their prom or homecoming dresses

On semi-formal I usually wear a black pant suit and DD's wear some form of cocktail dress

We love getting dressed up!

This is what my teens wore on Formal on our cruise last August...Keri in pink had a floor length and Allie had cocktail length dresses. Brian had dark blue suit he wore both nights.
