Hi and welcome to my pre trip report :goodvibes

Im starting this with 64 days to go :cool1:
this whole year has all been about numbers for me, my son and husband started the number countdown on the fridge way too early! in my opinion anyway! im sure it began around 379 if not more :rotfl:
since booking ive started seriously losing weight(tried many times before but its never worked) so the fridge is full of weight loss and weight goal numbers. im hoping to lose 77lbs for my holiday, ive lost 66lbs so far. 11 to go with just over 9 weeks :cool1:
weve planned to go on this holiday ever since we returned home last time. the goal is to go every 5 years, would love to go more but finacially that wont be possible.
our last holiday was amazing, im hoping this trip is just as good. i doubt it will be better as we got married there @ Disneys wedding pavillion.
so we're celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary whilst on holiday
Heres us from our last visit

Me (Nicky)=34, full time carer to my very cheeky son.
collector of tatties (the grey bears) mainly the figures in Hsamuels.
Matthew-37, works for Gap. Star Wars, Star Trek fan.
Luke- 9, just a very cheeky monkey  oh and Star Wars Fan too!

cant really say who's the bigger Disney fan, think we're all obsessed. :cool2:

We're staying at Disneys Contemporary Resort for 2 weeks.
We stayed there last time and planned to stay at a different hotel each time, however after finding out how easy the transport was, esp the monorail with a wheelchair. we decided we would only stay at a monorail hotel.
We originally picked the Polynesian and priced it all up, but at the last minute changed our minds and decided to see if we could stay at the Contemporary again. Virgin, who we were going to go with, didnt do this hotel and hadnt planned to do the hotel this year. I think it may of had something to do with the constructions of the BLT (sounds like a sandwich :rotfl: )
Anyway they were adamant that they werent doing it, however they told us to book over the phone so that if it did get included before we went they would transfer the hotel for us without paying the admin fee.
They still gave us the online booking discount ;) not sure what happened but when we rang, they decided they were doing holidays to the contemporary hotel :cool1:

oooops i do like to waffle on :rolleyes1

ok im going to leave it there while i get some lunch, but will update with plans after :goodvibes
i thought if i dont start now, i never will :wizard:
Thanks for reading.xxx :goodvibes

we're good planners though i prefer to do things on the spur of the moment. Matt likes things written in detail, i said he likes..lol
our plans arent set in stone and we will be very flexible, last time we just wrote what parks were meant to be quieter on what days (Brits Guide) didnt seem to have any problems and we got everything in.
we were pleased when the Star Wars weekend dates were announced,we would be there. loved them last trip.
we're doing a couple of things extra-
Kennedy & Cirque de soleil.
we sould fit these in easily as last time spent 2-3 days on Wedding.

heres the rough guide-
day 1= travel to manchester after school/work eat at little chef en route, stay at Crown plaza
day 2= Flights, check in and explore, ADR@ Kona cafe
day 3= ADR@ Chef Mickeys (breakfast) day at MK
day 4= day at downtown, ADR @ Fultons(dinner) Cirque De soleil
day 5= DHS
day 6= Universal, ADR @ Ohanas (dinner)
day 7= Kennedy, ADR @ Chef Mickeys (dinner)
day 8= 5th Anniversary= Typhoon lagoon, MK, ADR@ Citricos (where wedding meal was)
day 9= Islands of Adventure
day 10= DHS (Star Wars Weekend) ADR @ Sci FI
day 11= DHS (star wars weekend) then walk to Epcot via Beaches and cream
day 12= Animal Kingdon
day 13= Epcot ADR@ Coral reef
day 14= seaworld
day 15=last day boohoo. Downtown then MK ADR@ crystal Palace (dinner)
day 16= ADR @ Chef mickeys( breakfast) check out flight home.
day 17= drive home

like i said the plans arent set in stone and i know we havent scheduled MK or Epcot much but going on from last trip as they were so easy to get to, we kept popping to them when we had a spare hour.

MY fav park is MK, so im sure we'll go there lots. The other 2 love DHS, esp with them having the Star Wars weekends there

Thanks Mandy, just put the details in.
i know theres loads of ADR's i blame Dis for that :lmao:
kept reading the food dining reviews and especially with me being on a diet the food kept calling me :rotfl:
by the way i wont be following SW when im @Disney ;)
im sure the extra walking will help.

Sounds like a good trip - I have no problems with a 400+ day countdown. Well done on your weight loss.

Great start :thumbsup2 Hope you take loads of photos for us to see :teeth:

Well, Nicky, no wonder your guys started the count down early--you've packed a lot of fun things on your agenda for them to look forward to doing.

You've certainly done an admirable job with your weight loss--and you have the best diet in the world just ahead of you. I've found that even though I eat like crazy when I'm at WDW--one of my favorite things to do there--I usually manage to lose a few pounds thanks to all the walking.

I'll be looking forward to reading your trip report. Have fun.

fabulous weight loss, well done you :thumbsup2 . I would like to stay at the contempory. please take lots of piccies for us to drool over!

Well done on your weight loss Nicky. And you're right not to follow it when you are there. After a 5 year wait you will want to be trying EVERYTHING. :thumbsup2

Sounds as though you have everything planned - but also have the right attitude that flexibility is a must.

Looking forward to the next part.

:) I enjoyed reading about all your plans and look forward to hearing some more.

weight wise still got a long way to go, so my before and after pics arent too brill at the mo. i will get round to posting some though, prob when when im on holiday.
thats great news that i prob wont gain much when im away. although ive allowed a stone gain :rotfl2:
As for planning loads, i know! DH kept wanting to add ADR's, had to stop him from booking all our meals
ive loved finding out lots of hints and tips from Dis, def helped me to plan :cloud9:
