Another site has posted that it is definite that a 7/5 Dream Maker Package is going to be announced next week. It covers dates 7/5-8/28, and then there's a break, and then it covers again sometime in September (I forget the exact date) to 10/30. There's a strange part about even lower discounts to be offered in the 8/29 - sometime in September space. None of this helps me I really need the AP discount but I hope it helps someone else. Keep your fingers crossed for AP codes or Disney Visa codes also.

Thanks for the heads up!!! What do you mean about later in September re: discounts

Do you know if the 7/5 is usually offered at rack rate or if the rate is discounted?
In other words, was the 7 for 4 special priced at what you would pay for rack rate rooms and passes for 4 days only you got them for 7?
I know I'm not being very clear but I'm trying to figure out if the 6 days we have currently booked with a AAA rate will be less expensive with the 7/5.

I think what I'm trying to ask is: can you apply another discount to the 7/4 or 7/5 offers such as a AAA discount?

The 7 for 4 package was based on rack rate for the room with UPH passes and an extra freebie (miniature golf, legacy tile, print, etc) "thrown in". I would anticipate that a 7 for 5 deal would be the same but with Disney, who knows!!

I don't know that much only what I saw posted. It was only the 7/5 Dream Maker package. I myself am waiting for room only AP discounts. It was strange saying that the deal was 7/5 through 8/28 and then resumed sometime in September (sorry I can't remember the exact date) until 10/30. Then is said that there might be even higher discounts for the period 8/29 through September (whatever the date was). I'm thinking if this package is coming out next week, hopefully the AP discounts will be out before then. I figured it out for us we're staying six nights in July and 12 nights next year the 7/5 package doesn't help us at all.

This is due to Value season - the rates will be lower during value season. The deal is for the date range 7/5-10/30, it's just that the discounts are deeper during Value season.

This was the wording from the Fairytale package from LAST YEAR:

- Savings from $275 per adult, Prices from $499 per adult

Rates, are available most nights 7/4-8/23/03 and 10/2-10/30/03, and are based on adult double occupancy at a Disney Value Resort. Lower rates may be available most nights from 8/24 to 10/01/03 and 11/2-11/20. Savings are based on non-discounted 7-night package rate for the same package after 6/29/03....

Okay, I went back and reread the post and apparently you're going to be able to book 8/5 - 11/18. It's very confusing but it sounds as if there are going to be different discounts during this time period, such as 7/5-8/28 is one set, 10/31-11/18 is another and 8/29-10/30 is still another. Apparently, according to this post, this going to be released next week (week of May3). I'm sure it will be clearer by then but who knows. There is also a wierd thing in there that it may only apply to value resorts but I don't think that can be right.

Like ILoveWDW2003 said, it's not exactly that the discounts are different, you still get the same 7 nights for 5 package, it's just that since 7/5-8/28 is regular season, your 5 nights cost more than the 5 nights 8/28-9/30 cost. Then October is regular season again so the rate for the 5 nights goes back to what it was in July/August. So yes, it will cost you less to go in September, but not because they're giving you a greater discount, just that all rooms cost less during that time.
