If I make a ressie for 7:15 at coral reef will we have enough time to make illuminations at 9pm?

sounds like enough time to me..but it might just come down to when you are going to the parks..when I went in July, there were people staked out an hour before Illuminations to hold a good spot..but I just came back from Disney a week ago and I was able to find a fantastic spot for Illuminations at 8:50!

This could be tight, especially if you have to wait for a table, but it is doable.

Get to CR early (to minimize the possibility that you'll be waiting long for a table) and when you do get seated, be sure to tell your server that you want to be out in time to watch Illuminations. :teacher:

We have eaten at Coral Reef many times and we always arrive well before our ADR time. Only once were we seated on time. We probably average 15 minutes past ADR time. Service is sometimes good and sometimes slow.

Even if you get seated on time and have good service, you are talking an hour for dinner plus the walk to World Showcase, putting you there at 8:30. It is feasible as long as you aren't expecting a great viewing location.

When we went in May, I think our ressies were at 7:20 or 7:40 and we had enough time to make it to Illuminations. We had to walk fast and didn't get the best seat, but we were able to watch. We did have to wait awhile to be seated and we did skip dessert (we were way too stuffed). It is very doable though.
