Where did you find that fabric????

We had the dress made by a wonderful ebayer, but I just looked and you can find that fabric in bolts on ebay from several sellers. It's really cute!

Who: the whole fam-dam-ily (probably the 4 of us, Grammie, Granmouse & I think my brother Dean, also some other friends may be there at the same time)
Where: will book Boardwalk soon, but may change at 7 months out
How: we're new DVCers!!!
Why: um... family vacation
When: March 12-19, 2011

We'll be there those dates in March next year!!! We're staying at AKV that trip. I DVC and my AP!

It took me a really long time to stop thinking of September as the beginning of the year! I'm not a teacher but went to school so dang long that I thought like one! Now that I've been out of school for ahem a number of years, I have been back on the calendar year. Then my kids started school, and I'm all confused!!

Darn...You caught that! I had 2 thoughts.

#1 You would not catch it and I could have Dan read that and it would make him feel obligated to start the next PTR since Shocker, who is up for hubster of the year is already on it....

or

#2 I thought I could put the pressure on you for more of your funny and then make Dan feel like he could do part of the next PTR since you would be doing yours!

I think they brain wash us into that calendar from the beginning! And then once I decided to spend the rest of my life in education that was the end of it.

There's something about fall and buying school supplies and new school clothes that just screams new year at me!

Thanks for the hugs. We've had a difficult couple of weeks, but things are looking up around here. I'm pretty much back to normal except my neck is still pretty sore.

I'm really excited about DVC. I have to call them again to see if we're in the system yet. I've got March reservations to make!!

I have good news on the DVC front. I made a reservation today with our new DVC points. Yep, we are in the system. (So, it took 5 days from our date of closing, last Thursday.) I made our reservation for March 12-17~ in a 2 bedroom Boardwalk villa with a preferred view. I was so very excited!!!

The next thing I had to think about was food. Assuming everything gets approved with the insurance, I am having a gastric bypass surgery this summer. The surgery I'm having is called a Biliopancreatic Diversion with Duodenal Switch. After the surgery, I'll be on a high protein/high fat/low carb/low sugar. I will also have a much smaller stomach so I won't be able to eat big portions. All of that led me to be a bit concerned about the dining plan. While it will probably still be worth it for our March trip (since we'll be 4 adults & 2 kids), it will only be Sam & I in October. Well, even though I won't be able to eat big portions, the kinds of foods I'll be better off eating will more likely be available at TS restaurants. So, ordering what I want without a dining plan?? I'm thinking a Table in Wonderland card!!

So, the plan is: DVC points, APs, & TIW card!! How can we not go a 1000 times this year?

YAY! That sounds great! What kind of view would "preferred" actually be?

I like your plan for the TIW and APs. In October, would you be doing Food and Wine? I bet those smaller portions would be good if it was the right protein etc.
