Hi All

So pleased to have found this thread and the facebook group (I've just sent a request to join).

We booked the cruise today! My Husband and I are travelling with our twin boys age 5. Following our caribbean cruise on the Disney Fantasy in April I've been persuading my Hubby we should book Europe - thankfully we don't have to contend with long haul flights this time, travelling from the UK.

I'm holding off telling the children at the mo but know the first thing they'll ask is if we are going to deliver presents again We'll definately want to join the FE list - I'll confirm stateroom....

Ok - now to start working my way through this news thread, you guys have been busy

We had always planned to do another Disney Med cruise and this one has some amazing ports of call.

This time it will just be me, DH and DD who will be 16.

We'll I haven't been on the boards much recently because of various health issues and was going to make that up in the run up to Christmas.

However, we may now be knocking this cruise onto 2014 - I know the Magic, or at least one of the ships, will be coming into Dover in 2014, so will hold our cruise and then move it on at the last minute.

The reason being is that we went to a large ball in London a couple of weeks ago, and we entered a raffle. The ball was a very grand affair, in aid of Breast Cancer Research and OH had a table, raffle tickets were not cheap, two for £100 but as OH was hosting the table he got a couple for us, and expected it just to be a donation.......that was, until we won first prize


The prize is a Safari for a week to Tanzania in South Africa, everything paid for, the company who has donated the prize does designer journeys for the likes of Ralph Lauren (told you it was posh)! We are adding our dd who is obsessed with Lions and all things out of Africa, but the dates clash, departing on 7th July and we are adding a few more days.

To be honest, I haven't got over the shock, but the company have been in touch and we are putting the itinerary together, not told dd yet, in case it all goes pear shaped.

So, it looks likely we won't be with you.

I will carry on popping in now and again, just in case things don't happen (I still can't believe it,) and as we have been to all the places before, several times, please ask if you have any queries About what to see in ports etc., if I can help I will.

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas Day, its back to work for most. Fortunately we had new snow on Christmas Eve to clean everything up and make for a White Christmas.

Keenercam - We are always looking for information on private tour companies, we have just started getting serious on our research and hope to book some tours within the next few weeks, any info you can pass on would be appreciated.
