6th BDAY on the Dream 10/16-20th,11 "Hyatt MCO and the Ride Home" 12/30 COMPLETE

Your stateroom host's name wasn't Narciso, wasn't it? That looks just like something he would do! ;)
His name was I. Wayans and I have to look up the last name on the tip vouchers(if I can find them lol)

Your little girl is so sweet!! I teared up when she said thank you, this is so awesome. Then giggled when she realized it was towels. SOOOOOO cute!!!!

Thanks! There were so many "magical" moments on this vacation. That's what sets DCL and Disney apart from all the rest!

Since I am up with my nightly insomnia I am going to add a little to my trip report.:surfweb: I have to go back to work today so I might not be updating as often.

We went to the Dismeet and then it was off to the muster drill. It is a big improvement over years past. You no longer have to bring your life jackets. My DH and I both thought we had to wait for them to sound the siren but we heard people in the hall way and headed up to our area J. The deck was full of people. It was getting really hot and sunny up on deck.

They blew the whistle and it was over! Now off to the sail away party.
We found a spot where we liked to stand on the Wonder. The Dream had the same spot on Deck 12.

You'll hear me comment that my daughter was going to knock herself out and sure enough she knocked her head into the railing!

I didn't like the fact that they left the Mickey pool open during the sail away. It really took a lot of room off the deck. It was closed off during the Pirate party.

We soon got tired of the crowds and headed back to our stateroom to wave to people off our verandah.

Claire was SOOO CUTE when she saw her cake and the animals! :lovestruc Can't wait to read all about your trip-
So sorry they messed up your intro, but glad they corrected it!:goodvibes

The guy was really sorry and turned really red faced. But he was a cutie:thumbsup2

Another thing I couldn't wait to do when we got to our stateroom was put up our FE and our magnets. I had ordered a special Halloween FE for this trip but it was stuck in a box that had gotten lost on the way to CBR. Our cruise left on the 16th and the box got to CBR on the 17th. In there was the sun lotion (my DD is allergic to regular sun lotion.. a lesson I will revisit later) and our Pirate costumes were in that box too!(along with one of my FE gifts) So the only one dressed up for the MNSSHP at the MK was Claire our little Princess and Cassie my oldest DD whom packed her costume in her suit case. That meant too we didn't have our Pirate night costumespirate:

My box I mailed to the ship the same day got there on time thankfully with the remainder of our FE gifts. I was glad to have something to hand out!

My printer also broke prior to the cruise. My hubby had misplaced our magnets from 2009 but found them at the last second. Another FE participant was nice enough to make the Birthday magnets for Claire:grouphug: One thing to note is the cabin doors and inside bathroom doors are much more narrow than on the Wonder.

I am loving your report. We sail on the Dream in April....our first cruise:cool1:. Keep the report coming and all info and tips are appreciated:woohoo:.

We had the "Golden Mickeys" for our first show. I was expecting the same show as on the Wonder but a few elements had changed. I think it was because "Believe has some of the same componets. There still was Tarzan(he's a hottie) and a differnt Ensign Benson than our two previous Wonder cruises. She was really good though. The theater is truly beautiful and we had no trouble getting seats on the first level even though we came in close to show time.

Next we headed off to D Bar to get some photos with Donald.

Our dinner rotation was A,E,R,R. All of us love "Finding Nemo" and were excited to see the show. Our table was right infront of one of the big screens. Our dinner time was 8:15PM. We were the first one's there and had some time to kill.

After a looking around the ship it was time to go up to deck 6 to get to our room. We only had about a 5 minute wait. The anticipation was killing me. The room was much farther down the hallway than it appears on the ship map.
Click the picture for the video tour(this isn't from the first day but from the 19th, my DD's B Day. You can see how long the room is)

I found it! Here is our stateroom tour! http://youtu.be/ZxrKjRX00bM
Then it was off to meet our Diser friends at the Dismeet in the artium at 3PM. PS I forgot to mention that right after lunch I headed to D Bar to try to get Palo Brunch. Luck would have it that the guy in front of my grabbed the last ressie! We decided not to do Palo at all this time.

I'm joining in!! I wasn't in this pic b/c I was running to my room to get your magnets. LMAO!! I was in the last few they took though. :) I sure hope she had a magical birthday!!! Oh and I walked by your room on a daily basis. LOL I found your daughters KTTW card on the floor and KNEW who it belonged to and stuck it in your FE. I hope you found it!! It was a wonderful cruise and you guys weren't the only ones swaying for days. I think we are still getting over it. LOL!!!

Thanks again for the magnets! I also got a few magnets as gifts. I stuck them on my fridge and love to look at them!! My kitten loves to chew on the magnets and I am sure she herself is magnetic:rotfl: My oldest DD kept loosing her KTTWC and would not wear the lanyard!

Yep I still don't feel right!

We were table 58 and brought to our seats. I was hoping we would have our friend Ganesh as server. We had put in a request for him but he told me he was on vacation. He had said this in the past and had surprised us but alas he was on vacation. We had a new server Collin from Trinidad and Pucca from Indonesia I believe.

The theming is very cute here. We were right in front of one of the big screens. I always liked the "Turtle Talk" at Epcot and knew we would love this too. Before Crush comes out there are a variety of fish that make their way around the screens along with the silver fish that make pictures and you guess what they are making.

My photobucket is not co-operating so I will have to show you the food in a bit.

I loved that Crush interacted with my daughter and the table next to us. It was really neat and my hubby and I were looking for a camera everywhere but couldn't find where they hid one.

I really loved Golden Mickeys. It was my favorite of the shows.
Animator Palate is fun. I took video too, but lost the dang card then.

Here's to one of my favorite parts, the food! My DH ordered this really yummy potato and bacon soup for his appetizer.

My vegetarian DD went for the tomato soup:

I had the tuna tartare. I could eat this all day!
