Huh...weird.
I was looking for 9-9-15 through 9-13-15 for a 2-BR villa at GCH. I'm hearing there isn't availability though.
Perhaps a Grand Villa is available?

Yes, you are correct, 2 bdrms are sold out and GVs too (except for the night of Sun 9/13). Unfortunately, the VGC is really a resort that needs to be booked 11-7 months prior to your check-in date. It often sells out in certain room categories during the "owner window" and once the 7 month window opens it usually sells out the balance of the rooms very quickly. You would be looking at October, November & December dates if you still want to travel to the VGC at this point.

The 7-month window just opened last week...I was hoping for the best!

Once the 7 month window opens I have seen the resort sell out anywhere from minutes to and hour, or a couple of days. There are only 71 rooms at the resort (see my comments in my opening thread)

That is Columbus Day weekend and I'm sure it will be a popular weekend to visit the Disneyland resort (as a matter of fact I plan to be there that weekend). Yes, as of right now, there are 2 bdrms available.
