So this year is the 60th Anniversary celebration for Disneyland in California right? So if thats true, will the park be ten times more crowded than usual? I wanted to go to the park but not until the fall, but wonder how crowded it will be due to this celebration etc. Thoughts and comments?

The parks will be slightly more crowded than normal. I would not let it slow you down for a minute. For the 50th anniversary DLR went all out. This is the 60th and in the grand scheme of things is no big deal.

Unlike the 40th and the 50th, there aren't any new attractions opening this year. The new nighttime entertainment will draw some people, and I expect things to be busy from the May 22 launch until just after July 17. After that, I expect crowd patterns to be about normal. By the fall, the parks will be as busy as they always are with Halloweentime and the 60th mixed in.

Honestly, no one can say until it's happened. It might be a really great promotion and theme that draws crowds. And maybe most will feel it's so great it's worth it. Or maybe it will fizzle and the interest will dissipate by fall. Probably not, but attendance is up since the 50th. The number of APs has grown since the 50th, and the 55th probably isn't a great barometer. So the real answer is, no one knows what will happen. Expect the worst, hope for the best, I guess.
