I always take a shot of the GF. I still can't believe I got to sleep there for three nights. Back when 45% off happened in the summer. And at 45% off it was $300 a night. For three women, sharing the cost, making the room $100 each it was an amazing price!!!

Our FP+ wasn't quite up, so we thought we'd head to TL for our first ride. It's one of our favourites.

The ramp was not working, so it was a steep walk uphill. And a little hard for Blanche. I don't remember if I mentioned it, but somehow between Sunday Aug 16 and Wednesday Aug 19, she had hurt her foot! And she was hurting. Hiding it well, but hurting.

I saw this ride and said to myself that maybe this year was the year was the year I'd actually ride it for the first time!

Thanks. I was so surprised that the Peoplemover line was so long. It got longer in the rain! But we still managed to get through.

I snuck a peak in some stores along the way... because I love to Disney shop. I was planning to make sure to keep under the the "duty free" limit this time, but I knew it was going to be hard! So I take pictures of things to think about for later. It's horrible because I could buy everything.

Disney pants... I don't have many pairs of Disney bottoms!

We were not REALLY heading to the exit, just towards the exit, because we were going here! For our first Meet and Greet with Mickey! Okay, our first Meet and Greet together besides at character meals, and this was my first ever M&G with TALKING Mickey! Blanche didn't know he could talk. Although she didn't seem too impressed... hmmm...

We skipped the 70 minutes, but it still seemed to take a while. We missed out on the middle room that just looks beautiful. I think I want to go back to photograph the room even more than seeing the characters! I still feel funny, all giddy like I don't know what to do with the characters.

We went through the dump shop and browsed a few minutes. All in all from start to finish, it took almost 30 minutes. Better than 70 though.

My dad used to drive taxi's when I was a kid. And Goofy was his favourite. Looking back, I think now I should have bought this!

I can't remember what he said. I remember thinking that it wasn't as exciting to hear him talk as I thought it would be. I was just really excited to see Mickey and hear him say hi to me. Other than that, it's gone! LOL

Oh my gosh, how I love these! But this time it wasn't all that great. I was sad. I thought we must have just gotten a bad one and I figured I'd use another snack another time. We shared it, but neither of us really loved it. So, so sad because those are so good! I even tried to make my own at home once. Delicious, but not worth the work. I'm not much of a cook or baker!

After our not as pleasing as I'd hoped snack, we wanted to do something more. So we checked the wait times and decided to do something else that a lot of you may find weird!

We really did! For some reason Stitch's Galactic Anthem is one of those songs that brings me back to MK, no matter where I am. It can give me chills! I don't know why. But I don't mind this little ride. I'm glad I never saw the Extraterrorestrial or whatever it was, that would have terrified me.

I got in one shot before we were told to put away our cameras. Usually I'm allowed in this room. I was confused as to why! But I'm a rule follower, so one picture it is!

By then we thought we were starting to feel hungry again, so we went off to look for some food. It was about an hour since we'd had our snack, LOL so we were not famished. We just didn't want to get famished! We went into the Starlight Cafe and I took pictures of the menus, but we decided against that one.

Columbia Harbour House! First time ever!

We got the chicken and fish. I know, I'd just had the nuggets for lunch, but I like them. And I'm not much of a fish eater. I blame my dad. He used to always call me Tuna Fish, and now I feel like I'm a cannibal! HAHAHAHA, no really, I just don't like fish much. I cover, no smother, it in tartar sauce. So we split the chicken and fish, and I got a bottle of water, while Blanche likely got a diet Coke. We got the water instead of dessert. I am not big on their desserts at QS meals, but I love Disney snacks. I wish you could save desserts as snacks! But at least being able to get an extra drink instead of a dessert is helpful sometimes.

We sat upstairs by the window. I don't think I knew at that point how much Blanche's foot was hurting. (Actually I don't think I knew just how bad her foot was hurting until the day after we got back). But upstairs was a lot quieter and she was able to put her foot up anyways. So I took pictures after we ate.

I really liked the restaurant itself. I'd probably like their chicken pot pie too. I do like lobster so maybe I'd like their lobster roll too.

I am not a fan of the stitch attraction. I do like him as a character I just don't think the attraction is worth it.

I have never been to Columbia Harbor House. I will have to get there someday.

Stitch isn't my favorite, but I like to do it once a trip, so I guess that makes it a must do! HAHAHAHAHA I do a lot of rides more than once if possible though, so I guess it's not really a favorite. There really is something about the music though that I love. The music from the waiting area.

I liked CHH, you should try it! It's really nice inside with great views outside the windows too!

We were probably just wandering around, soaking everything in, and debating what we wanted to ride. Our next FP+ was not until 7pm and it was not even 5:30 pm. We were still tired from the day before too.

I waited until they were done, then posed with them. They knew I had stayed for their whole show. It was a cute little show, not long, and fun. I enjoyed it and it was my first time watching their show. Another first.

I can't tell you for sure if we went to the room and then back down to the food court or not, but we got our mugs and picked up our bags. Our room was ready, even though I had never gotten a text. We decided to just relax in the room that evening. We got our requests, fourth floor lake view! It was a beautiful spot! Just perfect. In the 70s. I can't tell you the room number just now, but I'm sure I took a picture of it at some point. I always do, don't I? Hahaha

1. Blanche stayed at AoA for the first time, which meant it was my first time staying at AoA with someone else! LOL
2. Blanche ate at Landscape of Flavors. (which meant I ate... LOL)
3. 1st time staying in the 70s section at Pop Century (Okay, maybe I'm kind of stretching things)

The HM gift shop is so neat, love the hat box ghost and the hitchhiking ghosts. Sorry about your friend's foot, it is no fun walking around with an injury.

It was a great view! I'd definitely request 70s lakeview again. Even the CMs said that it was the best view when I told them what room I was in. LOL I love Disney shopping, so I loved the HM store with all the HM merch. So fun! Perfect for Halloween. Yep, sore feet are no fun.

We stepped outside... or maybe I did while Blanche finished getting ready, that happens sometimes, to this view. How beautiful is that? I just loved my view at AoA and at Pop. PERFECT rooms for me!

We are not ones to turn the A/C on very high, but it was so humid out that my camera fogged up. Usually it doesn't fog up much because there is less difference between the room and outside.

We were on our way out early for our pre-opening MK breakfast ADR.
