I just found out BTMRR will be going down for refurbishment on 4/4 so we did get FP for our first day on 4/3 to get one ride in. I love that ride, it is a little rough but is tame enough for me. Enjoying your pictures of frontier land.

I agree about the food at Be Our Guest, nothing great at all; I do love the Masters Cupcake though.

If that's the one I had, it was good. I still like the strawberry one best though. I think. I really should write notes!!!

I think frontierland is my favorite because it has my favorite mountains and it has country bear jamboree. I haven't been in hall of presidents in years.

I do like Frontierland! And the Country Bears, I think it's a classic and a must do, for the most part! I try to see it once a trip.

Oh my! BTMRR is going down? I hope they add a ride photo. I was excited to try it in DLParis, but it looks like it will be down for a refurb there this summer too. Oh well, it just means I'll have to make a return trip one day.

After IASW, we tried to exit the ride but got TRAPPED! We couldn't move. Literally, there was a crowd of people blocking the exit because it was pouring cats and dogs out there. It was jammed. We tried to get out of the way to figure out what to do. After a bit, I said I was making a run for the nearest store to buy a poncho. I don't mind being a little wet, but I don't like feeling/looking like a drowned cat. So I bought a poncho and tried to text Blanche to see if she wanted one and figure things out. I think we got separated for a while, as I browsed the shop some. I love Disney tee-shirts and I love mugs. I was also looking for a mug for my sister in law for having done my nails and a mug for my sister who asked me to bring her one. I kept my camera in my bag and just used my cell, which was helpful as I wanted to be able to text Blanche if needed.

We had an ADR coming up, so we decided to start heading out, once we found each other! It was still kind of wet and drizzly, so I kept my camera packed up and used my cell to snap some pictures. I really do love the look of things in the rain.

I love puzzles, but I didn't buy any. Which reminds me of the 1000 piece Disney puzzle on the table right now. It's a really hard one too! All blue for the most part. We've been working on it since yesterday and we don't even have the edge pieces done yet. That's not like us!

We were hoping the boats were working because we didn't want to take a bus, and we've never taken a boat from the MK before!

I stopped and asked a captain that was leaving a boat if the boats were still going to be running (weather, right!) and he said these boats always ran as they were the bigger ones. I remember being stopped once on my way from DTD to POFQ because of weather and once on my way to the MK from the Poly, they didn't run after we got off.

We had to wait a bit for our boat, but that was fine, we were going to supper and we were likely early!

I took about 300 pictures that evening, but I did go threw them quite a bit while editing, and then I'll share some today. It was a fun show. We were seated at a two top, which was great, since it was just the two of us, right near the middle of the room. There was a little opening on one side of the table and less space on the other, so I took the squishy side and left Blanche with a little more room. Little did I know that during the show they would come sing behind her and ask her to move a little bit! Oops!

This was the marvellous piano player.

I think I see something new each time I ride IASW. It's a little odd like that. I think WDW needs to add some of the Disney characters to it like DL did.

On my way up, I browsed a few shops.

I chatted with the two families on either side of me. One family had two kids that were a little older, I can't remember how old, but elementary aged I think. The one to my left had twin little girls that were preschool (one Anna, one Elsa) and one elementary. The twins kept getting tons of CM attention, while the elementary girl on the other side of me was kind of ignored. The sister of the twins was quite fine with the lack of attention. At one point in the fireworks, they were playing Let it Go, so I started singing along. The girl beside me (to my right, so not the little twins or their sister) was kind of humming along, so I started blaring out and swinging my arms, and then kind of elbowed her and said "Come on, sing with me!" and started making her smile and have fun. The mom looked over and smiled and mouthed thank you to me. I was just having fun, and it's what I do with kids, help them have fun, especially when they are a little shy. My principal actually came up to me the other day to let me know that I looked like I was having more fun than anyone else during my recess supervision time. I was dancing, singing and hugging. We had tons of fun.

Love your pictures...I had to pull out my old photo album from Disney world...didn't take many pictures back then in 1979...BUT I did have some from IASW...and it sure is a small world because I had pictures of the Hippo and the Big orange Cat with flowers and pink umbrella...LOL

Thanks! Oh that would be so fun to look at pictures from 1979! You should scan them and share them on the Disboards. It's too fun. One of my sisters went to MK for a day with her friend and her friend's parents in around 1986. I saw one or two pictures recently and they have IASW pictures too.

Those are awesome! I wish my sister would find hers. All I remember is from IASW, but she thinks there are tons. Her friend shared a picture on FB the other day of the two of them with Minnie. I remember they phoned home and told my little sister it was Chip and Dale. I really believed it was, and I was in Junior High! Hahahaha. I think it was her friend's father, it was the kind of thing he'd do.

So I was on my way to Fantasmic! I was determined to get a good seat.

I sat close to the front near the right hand side. Then I realized I might get sprayed, and I didn't want my camera to get wet, so I moved a few rows back. No one sat directly in front of me, and barely anyone was in front of me at all. A lot of people were in the middle section reserved for the package people or the FP+ people.

I was happy with my seat, and satisfied with the shots I kept. I love Fantasmic! It brings tears to my eyes each time. It was the first nighttime show I'd ever seen at WDW as DHS was my first park. (I wanted to save MK for last). I took tons more, and deleted many, but there are others on my flickr page. I just picked some to share here. As you know, I'm a little bit shutter happy.
