Here are my thoughts about this..
After seeing that Disney is preparing 18 new trailers in the back area upfront by the check in area

and

given they are expanding the 600 loop. I see it having 18 new cabins in the 600 loop.

If this trend continues I see a lot more loops converted to cabins in the future.

Think about it $75.00 a night or $350.00

That would make the campground a lot more money.
Not the right thing to do but I can see it happening.

I hope I am not right about this, but it looks possable

Welcome to the Disboards!

What is this about 18 trailers?

Are they the same as the current Wilderness Homes?

I don't like the sounds of this. I am afraid that you might be right about the 600 loop.

Carol- If I recall correctly, you posted construction notes about 18 trailers for "visual display units" a few weeks back. Then there was something about merchandise stands for these visual display units. I don't know of anywhere in the Fort that 18 trailers might go, other than the new space cleared in 600. I really don't like this. At all. What I don't get is why these are called visual display units.

Oh, I remember posting it, but then had not heard of anyone seeing any visual signs of any trailers or merchandise stands.

Yep, time will tell.

I'm still wagering that "merchandising trailers" and "visual display complex" are related to a future DVC development at Fort Wilderness. Hopefully it will be in a hitherto undeveloped tract, but I find the placement of the "models" suspect. If it were going to be along the lake between FW and WL you would expect the visual display complex to be near the marina. I wonder if this relates to the reason they skipped 900-1100 in the schedule? I do hope they aren't planning to turn those loops into DVC cabins!

So, you think the visual display complex will be like models of DVC accommodations? Why would there be 18 units? What would the merchandising trailers be used for?

Carol is right, time will tell.

But until then, I am trying to figure out what this is all about.
