Hi all:

It's been a while, but since I changed jobs I have pretty much been ncapacitated to log in. Today I called member services and was informed that 60 WLV points I have are about to completely expire if not used by June 1st. Anyone has any ideas what can I do? I would hate to let those points go to waste. Is there not a one-time exception rule to help forgetful people like me?

Please, any help will be appreciated. :confused3

You'd have to rent for stays b/n now and 5/31. You may be able to deposit them for an exchange with II (The minimum II exchange rate I believe is 160, so I'm not sure if you can deposit the 60 now and then 100 later.)

Probably best to contact MS for your options.

there is the one time exception policy but for just 60 points - I don't know if I would use it.

Call MS and see if you made any reservations for 4 days (5 days if you can get OKW) Sun-thurs for the month of May.

then advertise that reservation on the DVC board.

now if MS is completely booked for May - you might try for a moderate for 4 nights in May.

If it is under 60 days from expiration points can be used only for DVC units. All you can do is three things

1. rent them
2. use them
3. let them expire

Could these be transferred into another member's account? Maybe you can give a discounted rate and someone will grab them.
