My friend is thinking of staying in her offsite timeshare during the trip I’m taking with my daughter. If she’s linked in my account but isn’t in my room, can I still book all of our fastpasses together at the 60 day window? I would just add her to my reservation but there are three of them and two of us and my villa only accomodates 4 ...

Yes!!

From the FP FAQ:
Note: If offsite guests are linked to or listed on accounts of onsite guests above, they share the onsite guests' booking window of 60 days.

Yes you can, I always include family that lives nearby in our original fp+ booking.
At least one onsite guest has to be included in the party, then you can include the offsite guests.

I did this for 9 of our off site party last Nov. and I also gave the adults my MDE user ID and password so they could access the PhotoPass pics they got, also for free once I made them Friens&Family.

Yes, you can. On multiple occasions I've Booked FP for my local friend when my on-site 60 day window opened for hard to get attractions. Most recently, SDD.

Woah. Glad I ran into this thread. Just to make sure I am hearing this correctly, if I book a DVC room for any March 1st, I could have the rest of my extended family book off site rooms for the same dates, add them in MDE, and we all get 60+ day FP booking?

Yes, and in addition it was just wifey and I at Board Walk so I added my 2 adult daughters to the DVC ressie at no cost so they were able to park at BW and the parks for free.

Incorrect. If you are going to respond to these questions don't assume the answer without doing research.

If someone is on your MDE list and has active tickets you can book all your FP at the same time. The only catch is the offsite guest would not be able to get a FP where an onsite guest is not also part of the party for that FP.

We did this with my MIL in January because she was staying offsite with relatives.

I appreciate their effort at least, even though it started things off in the wrong direction. I thought it was a "nope" as well, as did others who are surprised by this, and if it was easily researchable answer then the OP would have found it themselves. A mistake, yes, but an easily caught and correctable one.

jeez so I pay more to stay on site at disney for such benefits ( and cant get some FP myself) and those who don't who but have disney "friends or family" can if linked on line.. I hope disney closes this loophole
I agree. The trip I'm thinking of involves 13 people. We could do 2 on site and 11 off and still get all the benefits, bumping out of line 11 people who paid to get those benefits.

I don’t know if this is really a loophole or a conscious decision. It allows people who are staying onsite and visiting friends or family members who live in the area, and who have active park tickets, to get FPs together.

It's not that big of a loophole. It's not just having Disney friends or family, it's having Disney friends or family "STAYING ON SITE". So there are on site people in the conversation. I'm pretty sure it's not even something that is a loophole on Disney's radar. It's been like that since MDE started, after all.
To me the bigger loophole is booking a stay, booking FP at 60 days, then cancelling the said reservation after 30 days.
