This is my first time planning Disney World trip (only planned trips to Disneyland before) so feeling a bit overwhelmed.
Going on a trip and getting 10 day tickets (trip spans from Dec 14-25. We're taking one day no park break in there). I didn't realize Undercover Tourist e-tickets for Disney were not immediate like buying from Disney. I'm kicking myself now for not just buying them earlier. I didn't have any reason for waiting, I just didn't realize I needed to do it earlier. I was told typically e-tickets are emailed within 24 hours, but up to 72 hours.
Is waiting an extra 24-72 hours a big deal for making FastPass+ reservations? I guess that essentially shortens our window as if we had 8 day tickets instead. But I know that the 2nd week we are going is going to be super busy because it's Christmas week and isn't the booking window about to open for people who are going during free dining? (I think that was from Dec 15-21)
For reference there are 2 of us, and I'm trying to get us fast passes to meet Anna & Elsa and 7DMT. Our trip is 10 days so I've got 3 days allocated to Magic Kingdom and we will have park hoppers.
Or should I just suck it up and pay the extra $40 more to buy online tickets directly from Disney and be able to make FP tonight? What would you do?
