Hi, DD (age 15) and I are doing one day at MK on 12/31. Yes, we are crazy and we know it. Staying onsite and planning to get there at RD and stay all day. Looking specifically for advice on which fp to choose but any help would be appreciated. Hours currently posted are 8-9 EMH with park closing at midnight. Really hoping for 7am til 1 at least! I don't think I will be able to get any extra FP on this day and would really like to use 2 for parades and fireworks if possible.

EMH 8am
7DMT
Pooh
Peter Pan
Under the Sea
Small World if time

9:00 RD for Splash Mountain (where do we line up for RD inside the park?)
Jungle Cruise
Pirates
10 am Haunted Mansion FP???
Small World if not done earlier
11:00 am ice cream at Plaza Rest. (best way to get there in crowds?)
Hall of Presidents
Liberty Bell Boat (can skip if no time)
2:00 Have BOG Ressie
3:30 Parade (can I get FP for this?)
4:30Country Bear Jamboree
Pirate Adventure Game (can skip)
Tiki Room
Tom Sawyer Island (can skip)
7:30-8:00 Philharmagic
8-9 dinner at Cosmic Ray will be crowded need full hour?
9:00 Peoplemover
9:30 Carousel of Progress
10:00 Monsters Inc
Buzz hoping most people will be lined up for fireworks by now and can get on quickly!
Fireworks (can I get FP?) scheduled for 11:35 start then midnight countdown
Space Mountain to end the night
if park is open later will do Aladdin Carpet

would love to squeeze the railroad in but just don't see how. We are already pushing it with this schedule.

I'm not experienced enough to know about your timing of rides, but I did notice you listed the parade at 3:30. It's usually at 3:00 unless it's different that particular week. I hope you have a fabulous trip! :tinker:

We have never been on New Year's Eve before so I won't pretend to be an expert for that day. We are veteran's of several Christmas time trips, and I think overall your plan sounds doable. I would assume that there will be 7 AM EMH for that day which are absolutely great! Some potential problem areas for your plan might be:

1. Trying to fit both 7DMT and Peter Pan in at rope drop. When we went, we were successful in riding Pan twice by going there first thing so maybe you could get in both. I think I would recommend going to Pan right after 7DMT and then going to Pooh, but someone else might have a different experience. We used our FP for 7DMT so we never attempted to do both at RD. It seems like it could be possible by making them the first and second priorities.

2. Jingle Cruise seemed to build crowds pretty quickly so we chose to make that our FP as well. If it were me, I would probably switch it around and do HM after Splash and FP Jingle Cruise.

3. Buzz seemed to have long lines later than I would have thought so I'm not sure what it will look like at that time, but it's worth a shot in trying to do it. I imagine the park will be open later than midnight, so I imagine that you could ride it after the fireworks before Space.

It looks like a long day but sounds like fun!

Thank you. You are not the first to suggest switching Pooh and Peter Pan. I also like the idea of FP for Jingle Cruise because I think the Mansion loads faster. Really hoping for some time after midnight to squeeze in a few more rides. Does anyone know if I can still do FP for parade and fireworks?
