It was niceVery pleased I went, I was rushed to get to work so I felt bad I didn't stay very long
I think...think August will be our tripAnd perhaps we will overlap with yours...early to say..and then there's my constant ch-ch-changing
![]()
God is still in the healing business. Prayers are going up for this young child.![]()
So sorry to hear this Kathy.. We will be praying for him.![]()
![]()
Thank you.
Amen! Slackers...
Yes they were and they missed the best breakfast of the trip.
The Polynesian, or I'll eat one of Mark's goofy hats.
I'd like to see you try.
Excellent choice.
I thought so.
Did not. You sent the poor concierge out for Starbucks. Admit it.
Trust me...after the lack of sleep I thought of it.
That's not a bad problem to have, actually.
No, it wasn't...because we'd done so many other fun things prior toit.
Not very Christmas-y, is it? But I'm still jealous that you were there.
Nope, but I'll take that kind of Christmas any time over snow and cold.
Nice! But that means you're the lucky volunteer to be Tink during Wishes.![]()
Oh no! Will definitely pay for him.
I've never had breakfast at Kona, but I loved my dinner there a couple of trips ago, so would definitely like to try it for breakfast. So you had coffee at El Centro and then had a whole pressed pot at Kona? Wow. -->![]()
sorry to hear kathy, prayers there way.
![]()
Prayers said ... and lots of healing pixiedust for the young man!![]()
Praying for this young boy and his family.
Kona Cafe is another place on my list of places I need to try! I'm glad that you enjoyed it so much.
I love your MK photos. I don't think I've seen the photopass picture with the fairy wings before, it is so cute!!
We had one morning on our December trip that was really foggy like that. It is kind of eerie!
Prayers to the little boy and his family!
Oh that poor kid. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family. Hopefully something will come through for him.
Saying a prayer for him and his family.
Sending good thoughts and prayers.![]()
Love the Mickey pics! Those are so cute! Mmmm nothing better than breakfast at Kona! Especially the coffee press!
I do love the castle pics with the fog - it looks very artistic.
Praying for the little man you asked prayer for -what a horrible situation.
Lifting him up right now.
The little boy and his family are in my prayers![]()
Prayers for this young boy, his family, and those taking care of him.
((positive thoughts and healing wishes))
Sooooo far behind but all caught up now!!! Love all the Christmas decor. Makes me really want another Dec trip. You guys got some great PP pics. The meal at the Yachtman looked yummy. Will have to check the menu out. I m with Cynthia on the 6a wake up and 730 breakfast. I much prefer the "Ms Kathy runs for the coffee while Mary threatens the children with un pixie dust like things" to get them out of bed in the norningHurray for airfare. I am workng on park days etc

Many many prayers and pixie dust![]()
Prayers and love to the young boy and his family!
thank goodness you have your page links on the first page! all caught up now!
love all the Osborne lights, can't wait to see them next year! can just picture you all dancing down the lane!
sorry you had issues again with the rude guests!
great photos of all the christmas trees and the one of you and Nicki kissing Mickey is so dang cute!
Prayers for the boy... Hopefully he'll get that transplant before it is too late.
Vacationing at the Coronado January 23-30.
Could someone, please, give me the driving directions from Orlando airport to the Coronado? We are renting a car for our stay.
To all ~ I am willing to find out anything you need to know - Coronado ?'s and otherwise...drop me a line here - I will answer ?'s via Ipad once I'm down there! (NYer here)
KatMark, I thoroughly enjoy your trip reports...I chose the CSR based on your stays! TY.
~Carol~
The pics of us kissing Mickey are great! Love the ones on MS too. I remember when you took the wing picture, so glad it came out as great as it did!
I'm so pleased with how well our pictures turned out. We do look cute kissing Mickey, don't we? We gave the boys the chance for "equal time" by seeing the Princesses and they chose not to.
Can you believe it was a month ago since we were there....![]()
Prayers being sent, lets hope they are answered soon and this young man can get the liver transplant asap. Keep us posted on how its going.
First, Please know that my prayers began as soon as I read this, I am truly hurting for this family and all who know and love this child.
Thank you, Judy.
Now to much happier things. Kathy, I always knew you were an Angel; however, now you have the wings and picture to prove it!SO excited you have your girls trip on track, what fun you will have!
Prayers for the young boy and his family.
Prayers and good wishes to that poor young man and his family...![]()
I'm glad that you had such a lovely breakfast at Kona... and those pressed pots...Love them...
Great way to begin your MK time with a great photo with Mickey![]()
saying prayers for the young man and his family![]()
Oh my gosh it took me all week to get caught up again!
Your Osbourne light photos are just amazing. I hope to see that display one of these days. You don't happen to know when they start that display do you?
I'm not sure, but Tim would know.
You all accomplished a LOT in one day. I too am amazed that you stayed up for a late dinner, though from Nikki's report it was worth it.
It was definitely worth it.
Not surprised that the two "youngsters" slept in.
I'm not either.
That photo of Nikki & Todd in black and white is absolutely frameable Kathy. And I am sure you have a special frame for their photo too!!
Isn't that a great photo...I love it.
MK looks so colorful, even through the fog. Love it!
Yes, it is.
and this is just priceless:
as are these
--actually I think you need a digital frame so you can let these awesome photos rotate through!
I jused to have one of those and it broke. I should probably get another.
I LOVE the wings
Me too.
...and I SO want to see Tim with Wings!!!!
That would go right up there with his "whip" picture.
I do hope this child is able to get a transplant...I will keep him in my prayers, Kathy.
Prayers going up Kathy!!!They worked for my friends daughter so I have faith they will work for this young man!!
I got behind....like way behind!! Sorry Kat!!!! BUT, love the Osbourne lights, missed them like crazy this year!! Got pictures from our friend of the view from our bench....of course that didn't help!! LOL I've never been to Yachtsman, is it good for steaks? My guys LOVE steak!!
Christie, the steaks at Yachtsman were the best steaks I've ever had at Disney...go for it.
Love the Mickey pics, the Goofy pics, and the Monorail pics. And can you believe I've NEVER had Kona for breakfast either? Heard loads about the tonga toast, but we always eat dinner there. Go figure! LOL I guess that's gonna hafta change here soon!! Love the updates, can't believe it was sooo foggy!! That's crazy! Miss that castle sight and everything!!
Thanks; you must rectify the Kona situation...it's so good. I couldn't believe how foggy it was either.
Score on the airfare...I'm looking at airfare for June to go see a friend's daughter graduate. Makes me feel completely old, cause we've known this child since she went into Kindergarten. Crazy how fast time flies!! I hope I don't get so backed up again....no promises tho! LOL
Keeping the young boy and his family in my prayers.
Thank you.
So happy for you that your time off got approved for June!![]()
That is WONDERFUL!!!!How exciting!
![]()
Well, I did assume that you were the one standing there behind the camera.
Ha Ha funny boy.
We did end up there for a few hours after lunch... After I swore up and down I wouldn't go to the MK on the first Saturday after the FLE opening.![]()
![]()
wahoo!!!
I can't nap to save my soul, it's a source of great sadness to me. Dozing in a lounger in the sun, especially with no kids, occasionally but that's it.
I am so jealous. I love your Holiday borders. you have some different ones than I had a choice of. you would think that late Nov would have all the holiday borders up!
I kind of like the foggy shots.
Just checking in Kathy !!Been a busy few days !!
What a nice surprise. ThanksCOLOR]
Love the Mickey head cookies. LOL I'm told they were good.
Nice arch photo. Andy did a good job getting that
Another great surprise very well done. I'm not sure if he was more excited about the trip or seeing Nicki.
Beaches and Cream is a wonderful place. Small but wonderful. I was surprised at how small it was.
Every France fountain photopass pic I see looks like the people are superimposed into it. Even ours are like this. Makes me laugh. I never even noticed...I'll have to go back and look.
Sounds like a very good first day and night until the getting back to the resort part. That stinks about the noise and people. We stayed in Casitas 3it was a great location with a view of the lake outside the door. Bus stop # 2 loved it we always got a seat when we stayed there a few years ago.
We love the Coronado and would gladly go back as long as Pop Warner isn't there at the same time
Sorry Test Track was a bust. I have heard several people say that. I had read that before we left too.
I have never seen Crush but it is on my list. Must see at least once.
Chefs de France is always great when we go. Wish I had some escargot right now. Will look at the dining tr later on. I see you signed up for Nicki's dining reviews...good!
Ooh you saw Remy. Lucky you. Not sure why he didn't actually stop at our table...but he seemed to skip several.
Happy belated Birthday. Thank you; had a very enjoyable one with our son and future daughter-in-law
Nice cms at Starring Rolls. They went above and beyond.
The holiday drinks sound so good. I could go for one now even though it is like 10 degrees here.
It is strange when someone recognizes you from a trip report. It was certainly different.
Great pics of the Osborne Lights. Thank you.
I love early morning pics. I just never get up early enough to take them. LOLI love the early mornings when it is still relatively peaceful.
Kona is so good. Yes it is.
Great pic with the fog and the castle. Thanks.
I am now all caught up. I am really enjoying your report. We leave November 30th for our Christmas trip and I am wishing it was here already.
Hey Kathy!!!!Glad your time off got approved, and sorry we're gonna miss you guys this year!! Was starting my ptr and saw pics from when we met up with you guys, and made me smile!!
hope you have a good weekend!!!
It is down right shameful how far behind I fell on you TR! Please forgive me....
Ann, don't apologize...I'm way behind again.
Going way back....
How cool that Starring Rolls "reopened" for you gals!
They were super sweet about it and we really appreciated it.
The Yuletide Cheer is something I missed last year! I looked but never figured out where that snowball drink was. (I had read about it ahead of time...but obviously not enough to know where it was offered)
It was so yummy; I wouldn't have seen it...thankfully, Nicki did.
I love that someone recognized you all! You must feel like celebrities!
It was fun, but a celebrity I am not.
The tattoo was super cute and so exactly what I would imagine you to get.
Thank you.
Christmas of last year we spend close to 2 weeks there..and yet I missed SOOO much. Santa Goofy?I am seeing more and more reason to go back!!! I also missed the Osborne Family lights... well... mostly. We did a quickie sort of walk through since dh can't really handle things like that. next time... Im leaving him behind!
I think this was the first year for Santa Goofy, so you didn't miss it when you were there. Yes, I hate to say it, but leave Steve behind...you must see them.
I am glad that the dinner went well. I have never been to the Yachsmen.
You must try it sometime....it is so good.
Yay for getting your airfare for June. You know that I too got mine..andI think that is what I paid for mine
It was a great fare, wasn't it?
![]()
I simply think this is too adorable!!! What a great shot!
Thanks...that was a fun one.
Yay for getting your time off approved. That must be a relief. I still have to figure out what I am doing in 39 days regarding work...![]()
Also fondly known as Miss Anita Wigd by a couple of little girls![]()
and some other assorted DIStown residents.
Good to know.
So glad you get to meet some new DIS friends!
I can't wait.
What's the update on the boy? Keeping this family close in thought and prayer.
It was niceVery pleased I went, I was rushed to get to work so I felt bad I didn't stay very long
I'm glad you were able to go; if even for a short time, I sure they appreciated it.
I think...think August will be our tripAnd perhaps we will overlap with yours...early to say..and then there's my constant ch-ch-changing

No changing the Grannie Trip!!!!![]()

God works in mysterious ways. Dominic's liver is starting to "repair" itself. A quote from his mother that she posted in a special group set up on FB about her son: "top liver transplant surgeon in the country…who happens to be one of Dominic’s doctors, said that in 35 years of doing liver transplants, he has never seen a failed/dead liver come back like this."
Dominic has a long road ahead of him, but it seems that he is on the right road. Thank you again for all your prayers.
Also, here are two things I did today.
The first picture is a puzzle that Alisha put together for me that we had framed and hung today. The second is a new frame I bought and put up today.
Update will be done tomorrow.
Hope everyone has had a great weekend.
I wasn't too worried, but I was anxious to get a response. Have you done anything about work yet?
Thank you for all the prayers for Dominic...it is truly appreciated.

You are much too kind; but I did feel like an angel this particular trip for pulling off the surprise.
You were!!!!
144 days until my girls trip (151 days to the wedding!).
Yes, doing two at once is impossible I learned. Perhaps I should have you write mine to keep you in practice?
Thank you for all the prayers for Dominic...it is truly appreciated.

That is so awesome! We will keep praying!
Love the puzzle and the picture frame. Great memory of your trips and loved ones all in one place being displayed where you can see it often...so cool!
nope. I talked with my manager WAY back in August (I think it was august..it was before the ToT race) I ran it by her since it is definitely a week that I normally could not take any time off. She thought it was way to important for me to go and said we would work it out even if that meant I started tasks for the busy week a week early (which is a HUGE no no) So I think I am sure I can go.. it is just a matter of how we work out my completion of tasks and how the hours are billed.
What a testimony of the healing powers of God! I will continue to lift Dominic up in prayer for a complete healing of this young man.![]()
Such great news regarding Dominic...continued healing and strength wishes for him and his family.
Love the puzzle and picture frame...great pictures!
Your going to NEED a Girls Trip after all of the wedding preparation!Good thing you are a veteran planner!
If nothing else, I'll need it after I write all the invitations out. Yes, I said "I". Alisha has poor handwriting and I volunteered to do it.
God Bless Dominic and his family! May the healing continue! Prayers continue!
Thank you, Judy.
I love the puzzle picture. Alisha is one smart lady! And the collage of you all and the love that is seen...AHHHH, makes me happy!
That could be interesting, just forward me all the pictures.
Of course, there is the little matter of my not having been on the trip with yall
so Id just have to make up the story as I went along.
Having read some of my previous writing,
Im sure youll agree that no good will come of that.
It sure would be a first for the DIS and a very interesting first.
Very good to hear.
Continued thoughts and prayers for all concerned, theyll still be needing them for quite some time.

great news about Dominic...continued prayers
love the puzzle art and photo collage!
So Glad to hear the power of prayer on the Dis worked again !!I have seen so often, I think Walt is up their putting in a word with the Almighty !!~![]()
The question is: how long does it take for two 20 somethings to make their way over to Storybook Circus? The answer in the next update.
