I am so, so, so far behind!!!

I loved that latest update...

Why is it, whenever you show photos of your drinks, I always feel like I must have one? Seriously - I have a whole list of "must try" drinks, and well - I won't say where most of them came from. ;)

I just love seeing all the holiday decorations - even though I am anxiously waiting for spring, I still haven't taken down my village. <--- insert whistle guy there. Maybe next weekend? LOL

D~ <--- who is off to see if she has any Bailey's left...

Congrats to Mark!!! And go whatever team you said:rotfl2:I realised as I started that the name had escaped me :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

First, a big CONGRATS to Mark! I know that you are very proud of him as well you should be.

Second, I love me some Downtown Disney shopping! It's so neat to see all of the Christmas decorations even at Downtown Disney.

Nice Little Mermaid ride pics.
Fun times at Dumbo and waiting in the area.
I love seeing the gingerbread house.
Love the pics from Be Our Guest. Looks wonderful.
I hate rude cm’s.
Looks like you all had a fun time at the party.
I so agree about Photobucket. I switched over to Flickr for my next report.
Great shopping pics.
Congrats to Mark.
All caught up now.

We want to congratulate our youngest son, Mark. Mark will be starting a new journey in his adult life. He will be an assistant coach for wrestling at Loras College in Dubuque. Mark has coached kids club wrestling for 8 years, high school wrestling for 4 and he is now able to coach wrestling at the college level. From this day forward it is GO DUHAWKS!!!!

:dance3: Congrats to Mark!!!:dance3: Best of luck to him in his new journey.

Love the DTD shopping pics! I love Basin also & cannot get out of that store without buying something.

So we had just finished up some shopping, the skies opened up and we needed a break from the park.
What??? Every good Dis'er knows that the lines are always shorter when it rains. :lmao:

All of that walking made us thirsty so we stopped to get an adult beverage.
Well, if you have to shop, this at least makes it more tolerable...

The boys sat and drank theirs while Des and I took off on our own to do some shopping with the plan to meet the boys at the main store at DTD.
Now that sounds like a good plan. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Up next, Des' first Fantasmic experience. Would she love it or hate it?
Is it possible to hate it? :confused3

Congrats to Mark! What an awesome accomplishment.

You must be so proud. It's an exciting time for you as parents! :goodvibes

Congratulations to Mark! I saw this on FB. What a wonderful accomplishment! I wish him much success!

I think I am caught up with updates as well. I loved all your Christmasy pictures from DTD. I just love how DTD gets more and more festive during the holidays!

Raglan Road - on my ADR list for this summer. Can not wait!!!!!! The Bailey's drink looks really yummy!

And then followed Des' lead since she has stayed there in the past, and walked over to DTD and surrounding areas. Des needed to get something from her mom from one of the artsy stores on the West End.

Now I remember why I never go in those stores. :rotfl:

The new Splitsville which wasn't opened yet while we were there:

I'm interested to see what that's like.

And Des and I had the simply wonderful Bailey's Shake:

I'm interested to see what that's like, too.

We had great luck with the buses yet again and a bus was there to pick us up and within 15 minutes we were back at the CSR.

I'm really impressed with your bus mojo. How do you do that?

The kids came back, and we decided to take a short taxi ride over to the Studios because we had just missed a bus.

D'oh! Never mind. :rotfl:

Up next, Des' first Fantasmic experience. Would she love it or hate it?

Depends on how much she likes crowds and waiting?

Congrats to Mark on the new position!:thumbsup2

great news on the new wrestling position i bet he will have a ton of fun with that.

Congrats to Mark.

Good bus Mojo to SSR/ DTD and then to CSR. I have to yet to have great bus mojo to DTD.

As everyone has already said... "congrats to Mark" ... what a wonderful accomplishment...:goodvibes

Sigh... I love a little shopping at DTD... so many fun things... too little time...

That Bailey's Milkshake looks absolutely EPIC ...:hyper:

Congratulations to the new assistant coach and his lovely parents and we must not forget his beautiful bride!

Ditto to that Karin!!

Kathy~you all must be on cloud nine!!

Behind...again...but had to say I loved the latest pics/updates...but I really singed in to say WAY TO GO MARK!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of him and I KNOW this feels incredible Mom Kathy!!!!

I said it on Facebook but will say it here! HUGE CONGRATS!!!
Hope the wedding plans are coming along!
Love as always your updates! SO much fun. I agree with D~ want the drinks!!!

I hear ya on photo bucket. I cant even really get in to see my 12/11 trip pics. I made the mistake of uploading my pp pics (and there were WAY too many) and so now it takes too long for the entire album to load. (since there are almost 2k in pictures in it)

The baileys drink looks yummy. I was tempted to try it... but didn't cause I was trying to stay away from all boozes pre race.

Wow...that is a lot of pictures; I hope you figure something out.

I can understand not wanting to drink before the race; you'll have to try it next time.

I love all of the Christmas decoration pictures in DTD that you took, as I took almost none!

Can't wait to hear how Des felt about Fantasmic!

And you know how much I hate the new Photobucket too, so I feel your pain. :headache:

I thought DTD did a nice job with their decorations; Des and Fantasmic coming up today (if I don't get interrupted again)

Photobucket is a big headache!

I just love all of the Christmas decorations! I could really go for an afternoon of Disney shopping right now. Sounds perfect.

CSR looks so pretty. I guess it has to go on the list of places to stay.;)

Disney shopping? Hmmm...Mark has to go to an umpire clinic on Saturday....maybe I'll take a ride to the Disney store. :)

CSR is truly a very pretty resort and great picture opportunities there.

I had no idea you could walk from Saratoga Spring to the Westside. I thought you could only get to the Marketplace from there.

Lots of great DTD pictures.

You have to pass the golf course, but it is doable.

Thanks.

The F&W at F&G was enough to entice me to come down as well :rolleyes1 DH is quite the awesome baby"hogger" :goodvibes

You have an awesome DH!

The Christmas decorations remind me how extra magical WDW is that time of year - have not been at that time since 2010, so Dec this year will be extra nice. Rosie is getting a nice peek of all the fun!

Cannot believe I am doing it but we will be staying offsite :scared1: hope I can do it, but as time gets closer might have to give in and find the funds to book a Disney Resort.:thumbsup2

Great update, as always! :goodvibes

I'd heard how magical it is, but there is nothing like experiencing it yourself. If Disney goes ahead with the rumor of stopping EMH's, we will be staying offsite from now on...and it just won't be the same.

Luvin the Xmassy DTD pics

Thank you. :)

Oh I love the white tree behind Goofy! We bought a skinny silver tree like that from Dillards for next year. We love Disney at Christmas but promised not to go in Dec 2013. We felt like we completely missed Christmas this past year. :guilty:

This was our first time away at Christmas and we really loved it. We used to have a white tree when I was very, very young just like the one with Goofy.

Love the Basin! I need to grab Nikki some bath bombs when I go this time. We're completely out. I know, bad mama. I should never allow that to happen. :goodvibes

Bad mama. :lmao::lmao: I'm sure Nikki will survive. I love the smell of the store.

Love the Snowpeople picture!

Aren't they cute?

Sounds like the best way to shop--leave the guys at a table with a drink while the girls do off and do the shopping! ;)

Can't wait to hear how Des enjoyed F! for her first time!

Guys only get in the way...much easier to shop when they are NOT around.

I can smell Basin when I see pictures of it! :goodvibes It's a great place to get non-Disney people a souvenir. :thumbsup2

I agree...great place to get the non-Disney people a gift; I try to get some "stocking" stuffers when I'm there.

Goofy's Candy Company is where I go to get goodies to bring back for my students. Gummy Mickey Heads or any other treats in a Goofy Candy bag are super cool to eight year olds. ::yes::

Can I be your student?

Seeing is an awesome way to end a Disney day!

:)

Now we're talking. Goofy is the best. :thumbsup2

WHY do you think I took the picture? I did it just for you. ;)

I hear you on the new photobucket. I was really ticked off yesterday when they automatically switched me yesterday. I thought I had till the 18th. I have a pro account that expires in April. I will not be renewing unless they make some major changes to make it more like it was. I think they are going to half to as so many people are not going to renew now.
I ended up doing a 3 month pro account on flickr to give that a try and so far it's fine for me and cheaper.

What do you think of Flickr? I'm really not happy with Photobucket at all; if I don't figure it out by our April business trip, I'm going to make a change.

I lover you DTD pictures. I enjoyed seeing the decor there too this year. Every time I see your pictures it makes me long to go back at Christmas time.

Me too...maybe that's why we are going back. ;)

Congratulations to the new assistant coach and his lovely parents and we must not forget his beautiful bride!

Thank you, Karin. :goodvibes

That is awesome news Kathy... A MEGA congrats to Mark on this accomplishment!!! :yay:

Thanks, Bob; we are so very proud of him.

WTG, Mark!! Congratulations! You must be so proud, Kathy!

Thanks, Christine.

Great updates! I love DTD at Christmas, it's just so festive! :woohoo: I really wanted to have one of those Bailey's shakes when I was just there with my sister, but the first day it was too cold, and the next time we walked by, I think I had a headache or something! :confused3

It really was mroe festive than I expected...and it looked great. You must try the Baileys shake next time...it is so yummy; but drink it slow or it goes right to your head.

Congrats to Mark on his new job!!! :dance3:

Thanks!

I love your plan of one night and getting to the Flower & Garden Festival. Epcot is just BEAUTIFUL with all the flowers. Plus the food & beverages this year! Yum!

CONGRATS to Mark!!!!!!! :yay:

I think the plan for one day at Epcot will work out great; I don't think we will be doing any food and beerages as we have a special place in Daytona that night we want to go to dinner and I will need plenty of room (can you say all you can eat crab legs!).

Thanks for the congrats fo rMark.

Congrats!!!

Congrats to your son on his new job!!:cool1:

Congrats!!!!!

Congrats Mark!

Thanks you ALL!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!:cheer2: That is a nice early wedding present for him. Is that near you? Will they have to move? It feels good when your kids do well.

Thanks; no, he will not have to move. It is in Dubuque where he currently lives and was coaching at a high school; they live about 3-1/2 hours away from us...not too close and not too far. :rotfl2:

Okey dokey, getting caught up again here...on to day 4!

We've never done Cape May. The breakfast and characters look great! I love this pick of the boys because they're all leaning :lmao:
December9Part1009.jpg

Love all the matching t-shirt pics! You're all so coordinated, love it!

Awesome photopass pics in front of SE too, I love the back of the shirts!! What a great, fun group you guys are.:goodvibes

Bummer about the crabby pp dude though. At least your pics came out good though, the one of Andy pulling Pluto's tongue is cute!

Don't you love WS? I really do. It's like traveling all at once, isn't it?

The China hats are hilarious! Good pic!

Teppan Edo looks delish, minus the screeching child of course! When my girlies were younger, I was so paranoid about them being loud like that in public so Todd and I were very quick to whisk them outside if they got loud. We joked that from the time they were about 15 months to 2 1/2 years old, we didn't eat out.:lmao:

So sad that Nicki had to leave!

Yay for MVMCP! I think Gaston's looks awesome, I'd love to try out that drink there. I adore It's a Small World and Peter Pan, they're two of my family's favorites.:thumbsup2

Fabulous pics of the castle and wishes!!! And I cry too Kat, it's ok.:goodvibes

That parade looks like such fun, I wish we'd have kept our December trip. Great pp pics of you and Des!

Phew, that's day 4. I'm getting there Kathy. At least I'm making the effort, unlike those who shall remain nameless...:rolleyes2

You have a very good reason for being behind...so no worries.

Um....becasue we could all use a drink every now and then, especially on yucky, snowy days. :)

I can't wait for spring, but at least the decorations in Florida are in a warmer spot.

Ooooh....do telll...did you find any Baileys left in your house?

Congrats to Mark!!! And go whatever team you said:rotfl2:I realised as I started that the name had escaped me :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Thanks, Rosie!

Congrats!!! Awesome news.

Jill in CO

Thanks, Jill.

Nice to see you again...we've missed you. I'm glad you enjoyed all the pictures; I hate rude CM's too; the party was a blast; please let me know when you start a report so I can come follow along; thanks for the congrats for our son. :)

:dance3: Congrats to Mark!!!:dance3: Best of luck to him in his new journey.

Love the DTD shopping pics! I love Basin also & cannot get out of that store without buying something.

Thank you, Doreen. Although the high school season has ended and the college season will be over in a couple of weeks, he starts with the "new" season and he can't wait.

I usually drop an easy $50 in the Basin. My husband has told me that next trip I get either the Christmas store or Basin...not both! :faint:
